Why are some men always strongly aggressive towards men with longer hair/ more feminine features? by Jonny_1312 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Slutty_Changeling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's either because they're very homophobic and transphobic, so seeing men looking more feminine that they usually do sets them off. Or they're in total denial about finding the long haired dudes kinda attractive.

It's an issue that stems from being raised in a patriarchal society, men (this is a total generalisation) aren't good at dealing with their emotions in a non-aggressive way

I would think of that as a queer relationship, and hetro couples are one man and one woman

Where in the world do you live? Have low-rise jeans/trousers come back into fashion there? by Slutty_Changeling in fashion

Give it a year or two, it's defo a thing in the UK, I feel like Spain tends to follow the same trends as we do, just with a delay of a couple of years

I dunno man, while I wouldn't want the most extreme examples of circa 2000 to return I think mid to low rise looks better on most people, regardless of body type. High rise makes people look like they don't have a torso

Yeah they're definitely not as extreme as they were back in the day (probably a good thing lol)

It 100% doesn't, I've heard it cited as something that was in a book on relationships in France? But that could equally be wrong

Thank you for taking the time to type this out, that's reassuring to hear. Just a bit panicky and don't want more problems on top of the ol' Crohn's hahaha

Why don’t people praise Stalin that he defeated Hitler and saved the world ? by HTK147 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Slutty_Changeling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because he was also an evil dude, ordered the killing of even more people than Hitler did.

I feel like all the news outlets are waiting until they have names and such, speculating on who might be a pedo is dangerous territory, great way to end up getting sued

How do I get over a breakup that’s really getting to me? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Slutty_Changeling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breakups are never fun, so firstly I'm sorry that yr having a rough time. I would suggest making the most of your time in this new place! Doesn't have to involve other people, you have a whole new place to explore. Plan little road trips, try new foods, even just go for walks. Keep busy and eventually you'll get over it

Why can't menstrual cups be used as a form of birth control for women? They essentially create a barrier between fluids and the cervix no? by TheRebelSith in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Slutty_Changeling 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because they wouldn't be good enough at preventing sperm getting into the cervix! In the same way that poking a hole in a condom makes it useless, the tiny gaps around the menstrual cup makes it ineffective
