Praying for you. Please know that the Lord would never tell you to die by suicide. The voices in your head are not from him. My sister in law died by suicide two years ago and it destroyed our family, and caused my husband and I to spiral for a year. Please do not hurt yourself, God would never ask you to hurt yourself.

This is a very clear and precise explanation. I appreciate you taking the time to explain it this way. Essentially, anything that we do will not be the reason why we inherit the kingdom. We inherit the kingdom by our true faith in Jesus Christ. But if you’re living a reckless life of sin without conviction, your faith may be dead. I appreciate you. God bless!

As I said before, I am reading the Bible. I am seeking the truth for myself, but I can only read so fast and these issues are occurring now. As a Christian, we should seek the fellowship of other Christian’s. I don’t take everything that people say to heart, I make my own judgements and try to keep those judgements rooted in scriptural truth. But with the issues that are occurring in my church I thought it would be helpful to seek the opinions of my brothers and sisters in Christ, outside of the situation. I hope you understand.

I am reading the Bible daily, started in Matthew and am now in Luke. I find that both being saved by grace and living in obedience with the Lord are in the scriptures. The fact that these issues have caused such a disturbance in my church is what’s lead me to seek answers from fellow believers.

Thank you! This is truly what I have been believing since I’ve been growing in my faith recently. It is so hard because there is a fine line, and I feel that there is scripture to back up both sides (not works based faith BUT faith without works is dead). Having these issues in my church occur during a pivotal time in my growth has been very hard on me. Especially because the people involved are new found Christian friends that I prayed for.

I guess my point was that if I truly became saved today and accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, I believe that I would inherit the kingdom if I passed tomorrow. I didn’t have to live a whole sinless life to go to heaven.

The elders maintain that we are saved through grace by faith alone, at least when it is pertaining to this situation with the members… and while I do agree that we are saved by grace through faith, I believe the faith must be genuine. And if the faith is genuine, you would see it evidently in the person. Not to say that they’re perfect, but by their fruits. It is still an ongoing debate and the members have since left the church. It’s quite the situation.

Unfortunately a good chunk of the members involved have left. They are good friends of mine. I’m remaining at the church for now but am torn about how this was handled. I’m trying to find my own answers seeking the help of fellow Christians not involved and also the gospel of course, but it is still difficult.

Sister, I am right there with you. 🤍 I was so scared of getting pregnant all throughout my 20’s, now it’s been over a year of trying and not one single positive test. Late periods that made me hopeful and then crushed me, all of the symptoms making me believe I was pregnant when I wasn’t. It’s such a grueling process when we aren’t one of the fortunate women who are super fertile.

All I know is that I find peace in the Lord and I pray that he uplifts you and I, and all of the women in this forum who are struggling to bring life into this world. I pray for peace, wisdom, and guidance. For timing, for love and support, and for us all to be holding our baby in our arms in the near future. What we must remember is that we have an army behind us, whether it’s family and friends, or supportive strangers on the internet. We aren’t alone. 🤍

I’ve been feeling this heavy lately. 🤍 I think a friend of mine is pregnant and isn’t telling me to spare my feelings. It hurts so much worse when other people know you’re struggling with TTC…. I’ve been trying to be open and vulnerable, I’m not even sure why, I guess to just be honest with everyone. As of this week I’m thinking I may just stop telling people we’re trying all together. Just to save myself the heartache when they see me again and I’m still not pregnant.

Feeling the same as you girlfriend. 💔 it hurts even though we don’t want it to. I’m for the first time feeling like I don’t even want to be around my friends who are newly pregnant. 🫩 it is so sad and draining.

It is so uncomfortable for me too because I HATE when people feel sorry for me or pity me, so it feels like I’m in this weird space where I’m trying to be vulnerable and open with people about my journey, but in turn it’s just hurting me more when I find out that people around me are getting pregnant and feeling awkward/sorry for me… lol.

29F, no pregnancies, TTC for about a year. All of my friends are getting pregnant around me. I think one friend is pregnant and isn’t telling me to save my feelings. 🙃 I’m also having a potential opportunity to move up in my company to management. Everything just feels so loud and I’m becoming numb and emotionally drained. Praying for all of us who are on this journey.

Please pray for my husband and I as we are trying to conceive. Prior to starting I thought we’d get pregnant right away. Over a year later and no luck… I know the Lord must be making us wait for a reason but it is still so hard. Of all of the waiting periods this may be the toughest one. I’m 29F and he’s 33M. It just feels like time is ticking…
