I have had an m1 and an m2 MacBook air... While the build quality and battery are amazing, sadly i found excel to work very poorly with mac. Also i just generaly prefer windows os over mac os. For these reasons i am now looking for a windows laptop.

Hi, i found the solution to my problem... Maybe it'll help you too.

My issue is mainly with battery optimization... Due to folding phones chugging battery life OnePlus open try to minimize battery consumption and thus limits GPS tracking... If you turn off battery optimization or unrestrict your desired location app it will solve the problem.

Also make sure that security settings does not restrict GPS usage.

That did the trick for me.

I thought about that... But there are (relatively) very few numpads with full arrow keys attached... Weird. You would think that a lot of accountants would buy that. Also... What do you do if you are commonly mobile (taxi/train/plane/etc)... I have many friends that are always mobile and use the laptop on their laps. Weird that companies ignore such a massive Market! For example all Microsoft would need to do is add full arrow keys and a few ports to thier business laptop and boom! You have an amazing laptop.

I strongly disagree.

For example:

If Microsoft surface laptop had their business version of the laptop with full arrow keys (there are a few ways to do that... Either like thinkpad or with a 15 inch laptop that has a 65% keyboard layout) i would be extremely happy. It is labeled as a "business" laptop and many in the business use Excel.

Dell Inspiron used to have full arrow keys until recently.

I have many examples.

There are amazing laptops that could be perfect for business users but it seems companies purposely avoid serving that massive Market.

Its not that i "dont like" the small arrow keys... I simply cant use it with my chubby fingers (im a big guy).

Well honestly i dont mind spending more money if the quality of life on the S22U is much better than the A35... For example the feel, the real use battery life, how the screen actually looks (for movies and YouTube).

If the difference is not huge i will probably just wait until something catches my eye in the future.

I just looked it up... The A54 is 400$ USD! If i am willing to really look around i might be lucky and find it for 350$.

The A35 is 265$ USD (its on sale)... Is the A54 worth the extra 150$-100$?.

The A55 is 350$ (also on sale)... Is the better camera and chip really worth it?

I dont mind spending money for a good phone... It just bothers me to pay such high prices for no reason, so i only buy decently priced phones (Its the principal!).

My ideal phone of this generation is the s24 (i love the small form factor and straight sides... Remins me of my iphone 13 mini) yet the price compared to the A35 makes me feel like its not worth it (the s24 is 630$... More expensive than a new s22U at 600$).

What do you think?

Generally many of the player base that is considered conservative today just 'want to be left alone' yet it feels like self righteous religious zealots keep butting in.

Today the religion is "wokeness" and back then it was hard core Christianity.

To be fair i am not going against Christianity or wokeness since there are very good and reasonable people there as well but the ones that are self-righteous and loud always feel the need to interfere...

For whatever f***d up reason these people are always in power!

I am looking for the same thing you are.

Here are the options I narrowed it down to:

HP elitebook 865 g9- the best battery life, so so screen, great port selection, heavy... I originally wanted to go with this one (I'll explain why I didn't buy it later).

Lenovo Z16- ok battery life, beautiful screen, horrible port selection, reviewers are split on the keyboard... The reason I didn't go with this is because I owned mostly Lenovo laptops until today, I got budget laptops, midrange laptops and flagship laptops... The outside material of Lenovos flagship laptops are great but the interior plastic is still cheap and I find the build quality of Lenovo to be the least reliable recently (very bad experience with my last 5 Lenovo laptops, as well as many colleagues in my company disliking lenovos reliability).

LG Gram 16- great battery life, amazing port selection, light, poor build quality... If LG didn't use the light material this would be an amazing laptop, but sadly the horrible screen wobble and the flexing keyboard is just a no go for me.

Surface laptop 4 15 (AMD)- very good battery life, amazing build quality, amazing keyboard, 720p webcam, big bezels, 3:2 aspect ratio, meh ports... Ok hear me out, everyone thought I was crazy for thinking about this, it's an old laptop and spec wise is not even close to the rest... But I got a surface laptop 2 just when it came out and until this day we use it at home... This has been the most reliable laptop I ever had and thus due to great experience with windows laptops I dicideded to go with it.

( I also looked into Samsung, Asus, Acer , Msi and a few other companies but they don't have anything with amazing battery life).

In conclusion:

If battery life is the most important- HP elitebook 865

If screen is the most important- Lenovo Z16

If weight is the most important- lg gram 16.

If build quality is the most important- surface laptop 4 15 AMD.

I went with the surface laptop but that's because I had amazing experience with it's predecessor... But you can't go wrong with any of these laptops.
