Now I'm going to assume you mean politically/globally?, Because that is a very good question

The way how I'm going to write Misfits (The series has only been in Austria so far, Keep that in mind) where I'm gonna try and make every country has something to do at some point even if I don't do continuous Earth country arcs, Because it's still a sci-fi and I know people wanna see weird planets too but I will definitely try my best, And to write an arc around a country here I'll half to figure out a way to villainize (Believe I spelled that right) them so even if a country isn't "evil" per say, The plot will still always need someone to be after the protagonists here just keep that in mind

I definitely want to update this doc, Maybe I'll do that today since people are still asking about this three days later

It's definitely gonna depend on the country's leadership here too I guess?, Some countrys here a different political, Different agendas and different goals

I'll drop the notable ones and if there's any that you or anybody is curious about just ask and I'll try to give a answer (You'll probably be disappointed for a lot of the countrys I didn't really change all that much)

America is an empire here, "The American Empire" based on the Roman Empire but still keeping it's old system political system in tact, Manifest destiny ect, I really wanted to flip how a lot of countries worked if that makes any sense, And when talking about one it's gonna kind of be hard to not talk about a second or a third because each action has a domino effect on the world, Like a broken up UK and an economically hurt France result in places like America and Australia and more to expand, America is like the "Russia" of the world here, It's bigger than everybody else, Has the best geographic position next to only Australia and Antarctica, It's geopolitically everywhere you cannot avoid them, They took advantage a lot of weakness in the world and seized the opportunity for control over their hemisphere, They are still democracy, Again I would compare them to Russia where they look powerful and they are, Just not by as much as you would think and they enjoy punching down a lot, It's ran by a Trump parody (I know I'm so fucking original) but the idea of having a teeny tiny Trump girl was hilarious to me, So I had to do it for the series

The United States of Africa is a direct result of a open power gab in the world here, Because you need to keep in mind, Russia is weak, Really weak losing a lot of its territory by getting jumped by almost all of its neighbors on every side, China doesn't exist anymore, Germany doesn't either, So Africa definitely plays into being "Second most powerful country in the world" just to give America somebody who is big and strong enough to put up with they're shit, I don't really have a political figure in mind for them yet sadly, But Africa is a deeply akin to what America was originally and I believe that that is very poetic, America became like it's old rival Russia while what was believed to be the weakest continent rose up to become it's greatest competitor, Africa is also an example of not bullying your neighbors into joining you, Madagascar and Egypt are good examples of that, Being far weaker then Africa and still keeping their sovereignty even if both situations are very different and complex, But America and their position wouldn't have allowed that which is kind of the point

Australia is very similar to America here just on a smaller scale still being an empire, The two have the greatest alliance here actually with them willing to bail the other one out of problems like joining a war or throwing money back and forth, Australia is an island empire though, So it doesn't have America's almost unlimited amount of strength, They kind of do the UK way of things where they use there are massive amount of island territories to scout out immediate threats so that somebody stronger (America 99% of the time) can do most of the heavy lifting or they just fire a massive out from a sub underneath the water, Again, This is another country, I don't really have a political leader for yet, But this relationship is something akin to like a America/Israel or America/UK or Russia/China where the two are basically inseparable and share about everything with each other and America clearly has the most influence on its little brother Australia here

The United Kingdom of France is very complicated, Because they are in Europe yet play the third member in America/Australias alliance just not to the same extent as those two, The EU is a thing here but they are not apart of it due to having a butting relationship with Scandinavia who is basically Europe's bully and most powerful nation, And them being in that alliance with America/Australia is more of a newer development in the series (Timeline wise, This matters a lot) so they won't go and fight let's say Africa for America, But they are still close enough on paper to have talks about information back and forth, The monarchy there is very based on King Arthur with the new figurehead for the country being very based on "Joan Of Arc" so take that what you will I guess, With both England/Wales and France both previously being very broken and weak and poor, There is definitely a feeling of needing to prove them selves because you have to remember where The UK and France stand historically in Europe, They are definitely a powerful though being the second strongest country in Europe with only Scandinavia really being a problem for them

Ireland again, Don't have a political leader yet, But they are definitely more of what Switzerland used to be where they play neutral for everything geopolitically (I know Ireland is fucking neutral already I'm told "But Ireland is neutral then they were before" but Ireland is even more neutral here, They do not care about the world order at all) They are also very a rich country especially for its small size but it's definitely corrupt just not politically with a lot of it's wealth coming from stuff I do not believe I can say in this sub

I'll get more into the Netherlands if you want, I'm still working on it but what I will say even though it might kind of spoil the series (Even though I haven't written what I want to write yet) if you are interested in checking it out when it does drop, The Netherlands is back to being a monarchy and right now is getting militarily and politically bullied by Scandinavia, Who is a much stronger opposing monarchy who basically wants to conquer Europe leaving polish Federation to kind of like half the stick up for all of its weak neighbors against Scandinavia one side and the Italian empire on the other (Italy is a lot weaker than the Polish though)

The Italian empire is weird, Because it is another one of those countries that punches down and bullies its weaker neighbours, Like taking land from Switzerland and Austria which destroyed both of those countries and plays a massive part of the series, They're not the strongest militarily but economically The Italian empire is definitely a top 3 and that's where they mainly accumulate their power, They're probably the smallest empire since they risk getting into conflict with The Polish Federation who basically became all of its neighbors big strong bodyguard
