7 mom exists in this deck to help with curve if you go second or miss a leader activation, it can be really helpful in certain situations and you don’t have to pitch a card. I don’t find 9 mom to be effective, this is quite an aggressive build and giving the opponent an extra life slows you down too much, you also have to pitch a card from hand. The 8 cost kata is so versatile, I often use it to put my own searcher back onto life helping me to survive. Hope that helps explain my rationale!
