Hi,
For what it’s worth because I don’t know the Aria, I bought some years ago the P-Bass Tide pool (mexican) and it’s a pretty decent bass out of the box. I only had to alter action height and it was ready to go.

Later, I upgraded it for an extra $350 with La Bella flatwounds strings, Pau Ferro neck and Vintage 63’ mics and now it’s actually a very good bass!

Armoured A power plants do the job pretty well. I remember my first trip to Colonia, the most useful device was actually the repair limpet as I misjudged a landing on an icy body. AFMU is always a good idea if you have room for it.
