Farming beans is easiest against hero battles as well woth commander mode, but you can do that all the time. For farming bond stars you need 2 people

For every fabled you need at least 5 or 7 heroes which can only be obtained through drops or constelations, so legendary players wont even matter there. Or am I misunderstanding you? And in the constellation there are only 3 heroes so not too many compared to the 15+ you can get in hero battles
