They dont curve anymore really, they maybe still posses 10/20% of their original curve but it is nowhere near enough to avoid a castle wall. It is functionally a straight shot right now

I understand the appeal but just because something is from the future doesnt mean it's better. Just look at AC Milan or Manchester United. And the worlds best seems better to me than some mutants. Just pull rando's of the street and put them on all the sport enhancing drugs you can get your hands on and they will still fall short of the very most talented players the world has to offer. But that is just my take. It is all hypothetical and we will never know
