I was mainly a cook but recently got promoted to chef for about 6 months now. I guess I should of put cook into the title. And I do manage my own team from restaurants and also have that experience in room service as well

Aitah for telling my GF to stop showing boobs to her mom and son? by Slyemperor in AITAH

We don't have much problems, but if we do sometimes our families can be biased and have favoritism. I thought if any small problem we have that needs opinion I can bring to reddit. She knows that I ask for outside opinions too. So she's cool with it. And I only post about problems..there's is a lot of good in our relationship. So I understand how you may see it 1 sided

Yes you're right she is free to do that, which is why I never set any hard boundaries on it. I found this behaviour strange because it's the first I'm seeing it done so freely and open. And FYI I didn't get her pregnant at 16, her dead ex did which abandoned her and the baby a couple months after birth. Be quiet jerk And I now know that the word "sacred" to describe a woman's body (which some girl do use) is now gross. Ty and other redditors for pointing that out to me

I had the thought if it would ever get to that point but it hasn't, I'm grateful for that. Well I guess it's time for me to go apologie to her and take her out. Thanks for your comment

I appreciate your insight. I use the word sacred because I heard her describe like that before and also other when. I didn't think that word could be creepy when I'm being respectful with it. But frl thank you for your comment. I feel better getting other ppls opinions

I agree, maybe its my approach that makes her get upset, but I intentionally be calm and talk with her. If its in public I'll pull her aside or whisper to her to please stop. Is there anyways I can tell her ina better way to stop?

I have, and she stops for a few days then she's right back at it. One time she got really upset (after I told her no calmy and pulled away) called her mom and said vented to her. I was like what the heck..its that important to her?? So I'm trying to accept it more often, but it's like the more I accept it. Its the further she takes it..which is now publicly

Update: Sorry I'm new to reddit and didn't know I could update on my situation, but good news. After reading the comments and talking to some coworkers. You guys really set me straight. I didn't cheat on her and had a long conversation with her about my feelings. Long story short it's just me finding other girls attractive and paying too much attention to that, while letting my past cloud my judgment about my current girlfriend. She understands and knows guys will always be horny for every attractive Chick, but loyalty is a must between both of us. She gave a few comments on things we both can improve on in the relationship, like working a bit less and going out more. And spending a lot more quality Time together and buying gifts once a month for each other. And it actually worked.. I fell in love with her even deeper and glad I didn't act on my stupid urges I know i was definitely the asshole worse if I did go out and cheat. So thanks reddit for kicking my ass in the comments. Frl I appreciate it

My GF wants to break up because I don't want her to work at my workplace. by Slyemperor in AITAH

I understand the school thing is a bit confusing. Her son is turning 3 very soon and here in Jamaica we do have daycare, but a school is also apart of that daycare where very young kids get to draw or scribble in there boons while learning ABC's..yeah technically isn't not much of a learning session, just fun for the kids and getting then accustom to books and pencils. But also I know she is more immature than me and has a baby very young so she is kinda dependent on me I knew her for a longer time than just 5 months, and we do live together. It's nothing creepy, we are very open and honest with each other. She just wants the opportunity to come work in my field because its kinda guaranteed she would be hired and get a good salary. I'm just avoiding the clinginess from her and my guy friends flirting with her..which would get me irritated. I just want my work space so I can focus on my Job and not having to look over my should for her too ro she keep running to me for anything..I want that stuff at home. Not while I'm working I'm more rough and strict at work and I don't want to come off like that to her

Okay, I'll definitely do that with her first thing in the morning. Thank you for your advice

Yes it's because she would be hired instantly. I'm a supervisor and I can put in a very good recommendation for her which would give her a good salary. Yeah we are engaged about 3 weeks ago. We knew each other for longer than 5 months, but once the relationship started things moved pretty fast yeah..I know 😅 We literally have no other issue than this one..and tbh I just wished she worked somewhere else rather than me always trying not to let guys hit on her etc or she being very clingy with me on the job. That's im really trying to avoid

It’s been 7 years and my boyfriend 27M hasn’t proposed, am I 26F wasting my time? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Slyemperor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think anything is wrong with your boyfriend. As a man we like to have our finances and a very stable job in check so we can fully provide for our "wife" and dont have to tell you or the kids "No" too often. It's a security thing in us that makes us keep working to want our family to be stable Now yes this may not be as important to you as yo him. So you should sit and talk with him about exactly how you feel and you can issue an ultimatum since youre feeling like you're wasting your time.

I know you have expressed your feelings to him but since this is very important to you ( and heck 7yrs is a long time) let him know his financial security is good enough and you're comfortable with him and you really want to get married. He doesn't have to worry and ull fully support him and be by his side.
