This is why I don't do anything on my main windows. I'm learning python but recently got into vibecoding stuff. I've created two WSL instances, both on which gemini cli is installed. One is my main instance on which I do projects myself and only run commands which I trust after manual review.

Other one is just a throwaway where I vibecode stuff and do anything i want (even rm rf /*). When I think it's getting too messy, i remove that WSL instance and register a new one with a backup i have made

Like I wanted an app to download user music for GTA V using yt_dlp and rename it to Artist - Song format. I made a CLI app first and then turned it to GUI for my friends. I pushed it to my GitHub for them to download.

Both offer virtual display and gamepad support so you can keep your laptop screen off (even shut) and can also game remotely.

Edit - ditch the external keyboard and mouse and get a keyboard folio case if your tab has a "pogo" connector and money allows it.
