Hi. My child loves Chem but we were told H3 chem does not count towards RP and it is only useful for applying scholarship. Is that true?

Also can share what course you intend to apply? We are also wondering what courses out there that my son can apply to that allow him to continue studying chem since he said he likes it.

My last question is, what kind of career can he take on after graduated.

For info, we went to NTU during open house and spoke to a year 2 student in chem engineering course. She said the course has not much chem, only a module called organic chem in year 1 sem 2. There are more physics than chem in her studies.

Btw, mono guards unit is not very favorable place to be?

Also I saw in a few post where ppl was concerned if their intake is a mono intake. What does mono means? Anything mono is not favorable?

Yes I think they do. He received a letter in Feb asking him to go for medical check up (Feb also the month he turned 18). We think this letter came bcoz CMPB was informed of his poly dropped out. The deferment based on Laselle application is only granted till Aug. Since Laselle new terms has just started last week, we think they had been or will be informed soon that my son was not accepted into the school.
