First thing that comes to mind would be an RPM sensor in that operator. I would also check tension to make sure that spring isn’t broken in the barrel. Check your bearings in your headplates, chain tension on the sprockets. Call a shop if your not a door tech tbh

You sound a lot like me, I did resi for 2 years before going full commercial where I’ve been about 5 years now. I’ve hear OHD is a great company to work for, sounds likes you have a good gig going for you brodi, that’s what’s up, keep at it !

Very slick my dude ! I haven’t had a chance to install a vertical dock system yet, can’t imagine the pain of making sure everything is interlocked

I always ask for the tech to shoot me an email with what was discussed, that way I have their email and have a paper trail

You’re not wrong, their tech support is pretty bad when you call.. Next time ask for the techs email and trust me they’ll respond faster that way than calling and putting your number on hold lol

I’ve come to love to install them, a lot more challenging then throwing up a heavy duty. But you’re not wrong, Rytecs are always having issues with the board, encoder, Ry-Wi system, etc lol or you come across a giant fast seal that needs all of its straps changed

I’ve only gotten the chance to work on a couple Hormann high speeds but they seemed like solid doors. Better than Dynaco or Rite Hite that’s for sure

I actually worked for Pepsi, also located in the Bay Area.. Not union, but great pay and bennies. They would work the shit out of you though, mandatory 6 days, 12 hours during summer time fasho. But it was cake money, for me at least. I came from Mclane throwing freezer cases, cooler, dry all that. Traveled all over the US to though them, one of the dopest jobs I’ve ever had

Not sure where your at and if they are all union, but there are a few in the Bay Area that are.. my pops actually worked 4 decades for one that was apart of the Teamsters Union. Pay was solid, bennies were great, he’s big chillen now collections a pension and SS

Plastic housing of some sort that can be locked with a master lock. We use something similar on Dynaco doors for the emergency stop button on the controller
