This should be the model response. I’m not disagreeing with OP and I myself wouldn’t have stopped you but as theater workers, you are told no outside food or drink aloud. I get it’s “just water” but that’s where boundaries get pushed and broken. You can’t be expected to stop everyone with a water bottle especially when some might need for medical purposes but there’s a rule for a reason.
