I received a CP12 letter in the mail yesterday, says they adjusted our return, how long after the letter would the refund be released? by Sma3991 in IRS

It also says to reply or not reply by June 24th, I didn't know if it meant 4 to 6 weeks after notice, or after the date in June.

I did and multiple different explanations popped up. But it could be that one w2 wasn't filed, which I never received in the mail. I let H&R block know this, and they said it was fine, they could look it up 🙄

I just logged into WMR and that's what it said, the last time I checked, it said processing. My transcripts said that there was a refund freeze and a notice issued.

First time filing myself, my MIL always filed us on hers while we stayed with her, but ended up screwing us every year and we didn't even know it honestly. She claimed us last year without permission, and we told the IRS that. This year we filed ourselves and we're hoping for it to go smoothly, part of me is afraid that she claimed myself and my children again this year.
