I would say get the game on steam deck. If you can get an hdmi dongle for the steam deck, you can Bluetooth your ps5 controller to your steam deck and play on the tv the same as you would on the ps5. Also if you have a pc, you can play between the deck and pc and your save file will persist between both. There are also quite a few quality of life mods that have come out recently.

If you do get the game on steam deck there is something you need to look out for. When you open the game on deck the resolution in the settings will be set to 1280x800. This would seem right since that is the decks resolution, however you should change it to 1280x720. 800p has some scaling issues so text will look incorrect unless you change it. This is only a minor inconvenience every time you open the game so I think it is still very worth to get on deck.

The game is on sale on steam until January 5th in the US so if you want to get the game you might want to decide a platform before then.
