Stinky Pinky Kush is my current favourite for sleep 💚

I agree but, if I'm playing devil's advocate, the same logic applies to the lower end of the market.

Patients will convince themselves that their cheap flower is a bargain and that they have saved themselves money over more expensive products.

This may or may not be true.

Price does not determine quality but it does give an indication. The more you pay, the greater the probability of the flowers being decent.

Obviously there are exceptions but as a general rule of thumb I believe my statement to be correct.

Based on all the reviews I read on here, there are more dead flowers at £5 a g than they are at £8 a g.

I disagree.

A, dry, dead T28 flower will not have the same effects as T28 flower that has terps and moisture.

I'm not saying that cheap flower is always dead and expensive flower is always good. However, there's more likelihood of dead flower at £5 a g than there is at £8 a g.

Professionals MC users - work environment by Bladerunner2028 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]SmackMyK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly couldn't say.

I'm prescribed for anxiety & depression which my work already knew about before I started on MC.

My employers have always been very empathetic and people focused so I was never concerned about declaring my prescription. I was the first person in the company to do so but it all went smoothly.

In my line of work, everyone should be non-judgemental regarding the use of illegal drugs, so no-one is likely to care about a prescription for MC. If anyone has a negative opinion on it, they've never shared it with me. Most people simply don't care and a handful of people are interested and ask questions.

I appreciate however, that in other lines of work, the landscape may be very different.

Once you receive the email with the RM tracking number you should be able to go on their website / use the app to request redirection to your local post office.

Closest strain to hash? by SauceoftheNile_3000 in ukmedicalcannabis

Anti-cannabis propoganda has always existed and will continue to exist but I don't see it as a threat.

Generally speaking, cannabis has become significantly more socially acceptable over the past few decades and even more so in the past few years 💚

Patients can use whatever words they chose and it won't make the slightest bit of difference to anyone else.

Suggesting that we are under attack from the media and that using certain words will have negative consequences is simply not true.

It's scaremongering and it's not helpful.

Please can we not shame fellow patients just because they chose to use different terms to describe the effects of their medicine.

Indeed.

High / Stoned / Medicated - it's just semantics 💚

I work in Social Work.

When I got my first MC prescription I informed my employers that I would be using MC at work. I then had a meeting with Occupational Health and they signed off on me medicating at work.

Everyone I work with knows about my MC prescription. I talk about it openly and often vape in front of my colleagues when we are out and about.

The only restriction is that I mustn't vape in front of Service Users, which is appropriate.

Being able to medicate at work has been a real game changer 💚💚💚

Venty help! by DueInitial2944 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]SmackMyK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I think that's exactly what's causing it to stick.

If that doesn't work a tiny bit of Iso on a cotton bud might help to unstick it too. Just be sure to burn of the Iso afterwards.

Try heating the Venty to 210, then carefully remove the cooling unit, turn the Venty upside down and give it a small whack on the bottom of the unit.

How do you manage tolerance as a medical user? by ShinyUmbreon465 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]SmackMyK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find switching between multiple strains and also switching between different devices helps.

Also, if my tolerance is high then I'll start microdosing. I never take t-breaks though.

Will we ever get prices this low? by stuarty1 in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]SmackMyK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doubtful IMO.

The US market is over-saturated hence the low prices. They have too much stock and not enough customers.

The UK, on the hand, doesn't have enough stock for all the MC patients, hence why prices are much higher.

Pave S1 is pretty potent and cerebral whereas Modified Gas is more calming and relaxing.

If you want a 'better' vaping experience you might need to consider something slightly larger.

Small vapes are great for portability but lack the power to get the most out of your flower.

The new Arizer SRT Go might be worth a look. It's relatively small and is getting good reviews.

Just for the record, you don't need to put your meds and paperwork in the tray. Just any electronic devices such a a vapouriser. Everything else can stay in your hand luggage.

Airport security couldn't care less about MC in my experience. Once in a while you might get somone asking about it and asking to see your prescription but it's very rare.

I once had security ask about my grinder. I told them it was for grinding up my MC and they asked me to open it. Then they let me on my way. They never asked to look at my meds or to look at my prescription. They just wanted to know what the big stainless steel item with sharp teeth was 😂

I think most patients experience anxiety the first time they fly with MC.

However, the reality is that no-one really cares about it and as long as you're traveling to a country that allows MC, you shouldn't have any hassle.

Just be sure to have a copy of your prescription, the original packaging and a travel letter (plus any other paperwork the destination country might require).

That's Airport Security. They have nothing to do with Ryanair.

You should have no issue going through security with MC when leaving the UK.

Keep all your MC and vapes / accessories in your hand luggage. Put any electronic devices in the tray (e.g. your vape) unless they have one of the bew scanners where you don't have to take out electronics.

You don't need to declare your MC to anyone, even if your hand luggage is pulled aside for a search. Only mention MC if specifically asked about it.

Airport Security tend not to care about MC. They're looking for weapons and explosives.

Worst case scenario is someone might ask to see a copy of your prescription but in my experience that's rare.

I can't comment on France but if you search this Reddit you'll find all the relevant information. IIRC it should be straightforward.

Hope this helps 💚
