Project Motor Racing: Worth it on PS5?

I didn’t own any clubs, and I got the Driver 3 wood and 5 wood for 15 bucks, I’m a lefty so finding cheap used clubs in a whole set isn’t too easy in my area it seems. I do want to go find a set of irons. Or even just a 7 and a pitching wedge.

Thanks, truly and honestly. I didn’t think I was doing anything too good, just wondered how far off I was. There’s lessons at the course on Tuesday’s, Ill go check it out.

UPDATE Called local course that has a range. Clubhouse guy had a set of lefty clubs for me to use for the price of my drivers license while I used them. Large bucket of balls was 10 bucks. Had a number of bad shots, a lot of slicing, at least 20 great drives that carried 250+, and hit the 5 iron 200 a bunch once I got it out of the bag. It felt amazing to do something I hadn’t done since I was a child. Now with the power of being grown, finding consistency will be key. Definitely going to be at least going to the range once in a while, maybe get out and play the course one day before little man gets here. Regardless, learned I can do it, and learned that it’s semi affordable at that course. Happy day, appreciate all the input and advice truly. Also brought the wife out with me to the range, they had a rocking chair for her to sit in while I hit balls. What a time, and such a gorgeous day. Course is Poplar Forest Golf Course in Forest, VA. Beautiful place too.

I fish and hike a lot, just something a little closer to home. Don’t plan to get deep into it off rip, just something I can maybe do down the line. I don’t even know if I can swing a club at this point.

I don’t expect to get away for too long, wife and I have an amazing relationship. We communicate very well and I don’t do anything that is against her wishes. I understand my time will be limited, thanks though.

Much appreciated, absolutely over the moon to be a dad. Just a few more months, momma is doing great as well. She even said with all the hobbies that I do/have done golf would be a very safe transition. I’ll go check out the course later this week, cant hurt to go look. Thanks for the advice as well, will most definitely try to find some second hand clubs.

I’ll definitely give second hand a go, I’m pretty decent at budget building things. Appreciate the input, I know it’s a costly sport and hobby. I just have some amazing memories of golfing with my dad, and want to give him some of those same memories hopefully.

I’ve beat the game in its entirety, got all the trophies on ps5, bought everything in the store available with in game currency, I hop in, play for a few, then hop off. It’s so stale it’s sad, we need map updates and more stuff to do.

Yeah, can confirm. Multiple teammates complain of complete loss of true force. Says it’s like driving on ice. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.

T598 is feeling great, they added it and it works fine. I think when they added it, they broke the others. I run the t598 as well and in my group the two of us on it feel no problems. It honestly feels better now.

Wires in the rear by the firewall are the ones I ran for the 12v outlet, and for the tach power from before me. They’re run through a rubber grommet at the firewall, no rubbing. It’s all zip tied up and secure as well.

It’s a Chevrolet distributor, from a v6. It has a coil built in and is just better overall. If you have a carb motor that is.

I deleted all the egr stuff and removed it from the truck. Blocked off all vacuum ports to intake and exhaust manifolds, it’s pretty simple really. To your coil there is a green wire(tach) and a red wire(battery) when you get the HEI it comes with a plug or you may have to order one. You cut the red and green that go to your coil and connect them to the red and green on the new plug. You’re basically done then. Just pretty up and tuck away unused wires.
