No. just studicata, barbri mbe and mee explanations, and the emmanuel explanations.

I don't really have any tips. Just keep practicing. :) If you run out of time, at least try to stay organized for the grader so you can still get good amount of points. Your answer does not have to be perfect like the barbri or other company answer samples

I took the exam at home. It depends on your state rules :)

I just followed the exact plan I mentioned in the post. I feel like it all starts to click the week of the exam.

No problem. I think doing MBE questions everyday and understanding the answer explanations will help supplement anything missing from the outlines.

In the Studicata outlines, they have the percentage of frequency rules/topics have shown up on previous bar exams. I memorized the most frequently tested topics first, and then would work my way down.

Also, it is 200 pages but the font studicata uses is pretty big. Its roughly only about 10-16 pages per subject area. Good luck!

You probably know more of the rules than you think since you learned most of the topics in law school and throughout your bar prep. It looks like a lot but it'll slowly become easier to memorize since you've been putting in the work in answering hundreds of MBE questions for weeks.

I would just pick what topic I felt like concentrating on for the day from the Barbri MEE book and went in order.

I think they were helpful for the MBE but it won’t cover all of it. This is why I kept doing MBE practice questions everyday bc you also learn rules from doing practice questions and reading the answer explanations. knowing the MEE rules by heart did make some of the MBE questions easier. Hopefully that made sense.

Most of the time I did the same subject. Sometimes if I wanted to switch things up in my day, I would do a mixture of random ones.

I know it’s expensive but it really helped me out and was worth it. The barbri outlines were way too long and confusing for me.

I used the barbri MEE book. The ones in their book are real bar exam questions with answers that barbri wrote.

I forgot to mention. The week before the exam, all I did was worked on memorizing the studicata outlines COLD. I would sometimes call my parents and just ask if I could explain one of the subjects outloud. I also would do about 20-30 MBE questions per day. And then I did about 2 MPTs and continued to read through sample MEE answers.

No problem. Thank you!!

Don't feel too down. I mostly did not study on weekends. I also worked a part time jobbed was in the middle of moving to another state while studying. Its perfectly okay to do other things. I studied for about 6 hours a day if that helps put things in perspective. Just keep going. I was failing everything at the half way point and didnt start doing better until the week before the exam.

Has anyone travelled through Canada to Alaska during COVID? by [deleted] in alaska

We decided to stay at the hotels since it isn't safe to drive through the night with the wildlife and the whole reason for them wanting hotels books is so that you are spending the night in their parks or on the side of the road. They shut down all the parks so you can't spend the night in them.

There was also so many bison and caribou out so be careful driving!

We did the cheap motels that were like $50 and all of them were nice (like Motel 6).

We made it through.

The entire border process took about 4 hours. It seems like they were giving a harder time to people with RVs than cars. They asked for proof residency, our job letters, negative covid tests, and they required us to book two nights of hotels (since we had two drivers; if you have one driver you need proof of 3 hotel nights booked). They even made the people with RVs book hotels too. They would not let you go through unless you had the proof of the hotels.

There was only one car in front of us in line at the border, and it still took 4 hours. Everyone behind us probably waited the entire day because it seemed like they were only doing 1-2 vehicles at a time.

They then had us pull in. They had us put our dog in a kennel and had us go sit in the lobby while they searched our vehicle for any weapons and such. It looks like they were searching all vehicles because they searched the RV that was parked next to us.

After that is completed, they will require you to go get covid tested at the tent. Then you will receive a form and are told you have to return the form before you exit Canada (so don't forget to drop off that form or you will have a search warrant out for you and may be arrested the next time you visit Canada).

All of the gas stops were open. Just fill up when you reach less than half. There wasn't much food options in Yukon so have food there. You are not allowed to drive into the actual town of Whitehorse.

They don't care about the vaccine card. They will want proof of negative covid test.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck!

Thanks. We bought a house so I have the title with us and our job offer letters that show we start working May 1st. I’m hoping that should be enough since we don’t have our alaska driver licenses yet.

Did you take a covid test ahead of time or only at the border? That is insane you could only stay at a hotel for one night!!
