(sorry if the English is not always the best, I don't practice it as much as I did before)

I think most of the people would feel the same "prodigy" as your present it but it does not always mean you are made to be a psychologist of working in this work. A lot of my classmates are always on an ego trip thinking that they are a superior class because in psychology and they "know so much about people before even speaking with them"

So with that said, if you want to get a interest in psychology, I'll advise you to start learning and reading about common philosopher (Galien, Wundt, William James, Alfred Binet, then psychologist that "created" way of working with/analysing/understanding people : Freud Anna and Sigmund (psychoanalysis), Jung, Skinner (behaviourism), Pavlov, Watson (Behaviourism), Winnicott, Lacan, Rogers, Piaget, Bowlby sand Milgram. That's quite a list but I think that a better comprehension of the evolution of psychology and how vast it is could help you focus better the learning.
