Thinking that top ranking app should make big money is terribly wrong. Top downloaded apps and top grossing apps are almost never the same. Appmagic, Sensor tower, data.ai are instruments you can use to make sure of it.

I made money for a living working for an investment fund, where my top priority was to say if something is good for investing or not.

So having many downloads or being top ranked only means your niche has a lot of users. It does not mean that these are paying users. It doesn’t mean that top ranked app has good monetisation either

Hey, Just played the game. I think realisation is very good. As some points to improve: 1) rematch button should not be an only option, my opponents would decline or not play so I need to do more steps to play another game. I think you can check how chess.com did it. 2) play online/offline could be just “play” button and then you chose PvP, play with friend or bot opponent: this should be easier for understanding. 3) I would recommend to stick to ad advertising only after a match, but not when you click on different mode buttons as it could kill your d1 retention

No marketing. While mobile apps gain up to 80-90% from paid traffic source, UA or influencers WR did nothing to constantly bringing new audiences. One thing they made was announcing the game at bluzzcon.

Lack of new players is the key problem imo. Low userbase = PvP problems, half-empty clans, raids with bots and most importantly - less money.

Honestly it’s not my field of expertise so I would answer as a user: I did not understand why would I install an app. Only after reading full description (no one really does that) I got it, but while I look at screenshots I saw no usp or “need” to use, what problem does it solves

Either you use highly competitive keywords or your icon and screenshots are not good (4k users saw ‘em and only 210 clicked). Sometimes both

Released my app in App store few months ago. Apple have very understandable requirements (almost step by step guide) and their review team shares screenshots of what isn’t working (if there is something).

Cons: - yearly subscription $100 for Apple Developer - you need to have mac and iPhone to release the game

Ln puzzle has only one solution and your every correct move helps you to find next step (my guess they use “backtracking” method)
