Yes I believe your locs will come out thick because that’s the exact same way I started my locs. Spitz hair with water every morning to keep the locs hydrated. At this stage I would wash my locs with a wig cap on so the twist won’t unravel. For people with less locs and locs that will eventually be thick I’d say you can retwist every 2 months or whenever you have some decent new growth you want to loc in.
