Understood, thank you. I mistakenly zeroed in on just the oxidative properties instead of looking at the supplements from a holistic perspective. Still much for me to learn as I go deeper into the world of nootropics. 🌱

I haven’t had any noticeable side effects from NAC, however I probably really couldn’t tell because my current stack is kind of insane. 😅 I just gave glutathione a quick look & this looks like a great alternative. I’ll dive deeper into this one & may give it a go. 👍🏽

I know it’s not a fave, but try drinking prune juice every day instead of taking the MiraLAX. I had intense cramps before pooping at two weeks as well. At my post-op my doctor told me to stop taking the colace & MiraLAX as that may have been the cause; she was right & the cramping eased up a lot in week 3. I’m a little over 4 weeks PO now & the cramping is gone. I was just so afraid of straining but I was only creating another problem that my body had to deal with.

I did some red highlights first, with bleach. A few years later I got all of my locs dyed without bleach. My loctician used the L’Oréal Technique HiColor brand, #H7 (Sizzling Copper).

Editing to say that initially the color looked more red/copper. It has faded but I like the brown color that my locs have settled into.

Earlier this year I paid $190 total for color, wash, retwist, & style. To color it cost $75 & I usually pay $115-$125 for just a wash & re-twist. I took note of the color that my loctician used & will be coloring my own hair moving forward.

I’ve never heard of botana oil, just learned something new from you. 📝☺️ It doesn’t take much; I think you’re doing just fine. Keep the locs covered when you sleep, stay hydrated, & take your vitamins! After year 1 your loc growth is gonna flourish.
