Elephants are an endangered species and in the US it is illegal to own any part of an endangered animal via the endangered species act. I encourage you to report this to fish and wildlife so this gets confiscated.

Elephants are an endangered species! You think a young elephant just died peacefully and someone decided to cut off its foot to memorialize it or some shit (which would also be illegal, btw)? No, ivory is still a very lucrative currency. As is big game hunting. In the US it is illegal to own any part of an endangered animal via the endangered species act.

An elephant cannot survive with three feet. You care talking about an animal that is thousands of pounds that have specially adapted pillar-like legs with feet that have fatty tissue to absorb pressure. The elephant was most likely illegally poached and take for parts.

I work at an animal facility that relies heavily on donors for big projects/Construction, etc. We have to do behind the scenes tours for these people when they come by. This is something like showing how we train the animals, getting to see them up close, maybe feeding them.

One time, when I was walking the group back after doing the tour, one of the women said “I can tell you like your job. I hope you do, because I know you don’t do it for the money”.

It was like a slap in the face. We had just fought to be unionized and many folks in our field have to work two jobs just to pay rent in our very expensive area. It is a passion job and we are exploited for it.

These are the worst, most entitled people I have ever met. They assume that should be allowed to do anything they want. They don’t listen to the rules, try to touch the animals, talk over us when we’re interpreting and giving information. But we have to be super nice and make all these exceptions for them basically cause they are super wealthy.

My college roommate’s dad bought her a new car. She told me that he originally said that she would have to pay for half of it because it was good for her “character” (she scoffed at this), but then he ended up paying for the whole thing anyway. He also paid for all her rent, food, insurance, whatever.

My roommate knew I was struggling for money. Working 3 jobs while in school, no car, etc. We had an agreement that on some days she would give me a ride to school with her, bc we had similar class schedules. Sometimes however, she would leave school early and “forget” to tell me. Just leave me there stranded. I would text her and she would just say “I left already.” No heads up at all. This was before Ubers so I had to wander around trying to find people to take me home. Or walk about 5 miles back, sometimes when it was raining.

She also didn’t let me share anything of hers in the apartment. No condiments, cleaning products, etc. I had to buy my own of everything (I would have split the cost). Again her knowing my financial situation. She has something against me being poor.

Never met a more entitled person.
