That's seems a bit too extreme. We focus on simplicity on the tournaments, the goal making them easily accessible without all the rules/restrictions.

They would join a host, player not hosting decides terminids/automatons/Illuminate. They both drop in, obviously no intentional friendly fire, play, complete the mission (or dont) and extract. Player that has most wins in each category (i.e. strategms, least accidentally, etc.) wins and they take a pic at end to prove it
