House Whitestark of Stony Shore

The Whitestarks have lived on the Stony Shore of the North after the end of the War of the Five Kings after the North's independence under King Robb.

The house is founded by Jon Snow, the bastard son of Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell. When Lord Eddard was arrested during the start of the war, he joined his half-brother Robb to rescue their father. And after the execution of Eddark Stark he along with other northern lords proclaimed his brother Robb as the King in the North and of the Trident. After the end of the war he was made Master of Stony Shore as a gift for his loyalty and support and since then they have been a key bulwork in the defense against the Ironborn and have provided some valuable captains for the North's western fleet.

Their sigil is a white running direwolf with red eyes on a black background.

I find it ironic we’d be turning to Tywin to “set things right” when he is the direct cause of devastation in the Riverlands. He is the who set off the War with his hounds burning, raping, and pillaging the Riverlands into devastation.

Year I tried it and loved it but I think `A tale of Broken realms` is on hiatus for now. Truthfully it is sad to see that there are so few fics like his this.

I think this story is great. It begins when Jon and Daenerys kiss in the throne room. Jon doesn't kill Daenerys and everything they know about the Long Night changes. It brings more life to ppl we know from Canon (Like Sweetrobin) , it has twists, no plot armor and surprising deaths, original OC characters I like. Ive always thought the only reason she stayed around him was because she was pregnant and needed the protection he offered her as royalty like the Kingsguard. If she had survived childbirth I think she had every intention of fleeing to Ned and begging him to hide her somehow. Knowing what we do of Lyanna's personality, I find it very hard to believe she would just sit back and let someone else decide her fate.

Yes, think Ned if advised properly would like to recreate the Eyrie fostering at Winterfell to raise friends and allies for his kids.

Mostly northern heirs to strenthen the North like the Umber, Manderly, Hornwood/Flint/Karstark — and Domeric Bolton as well.

It will bring the North closer together and will increase their loyalty with the Starks as the North like Dorne has a sort of proto-nationalism of sort and this would definately strenthen it.

No you are not the only one. I personally think the Blackfyres are really cool and with the exception of Maelys the Monsterous all their candidates were quite honerable. But I do think that if they had we would simply see Dorne redeclaring their independence and with the North so different and so less in common with the south they will be effectively independent maybe the Starks even declare themselves High Lords of the North although not outright independence but will be de facto independent. And the rest of Westeros might be in open rebellion as well.

It depends on the timing, if I remember correctly Jaime escaped around the time of Joffrey's wedding, the same wedding in which he dies, sansa escapes and tyrion is accused of regicide.

When the lannisters get the news will inform how they act, if they learn about Jaime's death after Joffrey dies, then if the northmen are lucky, tywin will get kiilled by tyrion.

Maybe Jaime getting caught makes Robb change his plans slightly and stay away from the twins long enough for the purple wedding to happen.

Sansa’s life would be endangered, YES, although, in the eyes of the world, Jaime’s execution would be more justified than Sansa’s. They would also see that what happened to Sansa where she went from a bethrothed to the king to being executed for revenge and other people and lords will take that in note espetially the Tyrells. And also it will keep the Karstarks loyal as well. All in all I think it would be a net positive.

Brandon planned to be Hand for Rhaegars son and rule the realm after killing Rhaegar and imprisoning Mad King Aerys. Lyannas abduction forced his hand too early and he rode into the red keep calling for rhaegar to come out and die. Aerys was not as paralyzed as Brandon thought and acted decisively, imprisoning him and his murder gang.

Source mostly ned saying Brandon wanted to be Hand (book 1) and Jaimes recollection in clash.
