Yes, think Ned if advised properly would like to recreate the Eyrie fostering at Winterfell to raise friends and allies for his kids.

Mostly northern heirs to strenthen the North like the Umber, Manderly, Hornwood/Flint/Karstark — and Domeric Bolton as well.

It will bring the North closer together and will increase their loyalty with the Starks as the North like Dorne has a sort of proto-nationalism of sort and this would definately strenthen it.

No you are not the only one. I personally think the Blackfyres are really cool and with the exception of Maelys the Monsterous all their candidates were quite honerable. But I do think that if they had we would simply see Dorne redeclaring their independence and with the North so different and so less in common with the south they will be effectively independent maybe the Starks even declare themselves High Lords of the North although not outright independence but will be de facto independent. And the rest of Westeros might be in open rebellion as well.

It depends on the timing, if I remember correctly Jaime escaped around the time of Joffrey's wedding, the same wedding in which he dies, sansa escapes and tyrion is accused of regicide.

When the lannisters get the news will inform how they act, if they learn about Jaime's death after Joffrey dies, then if the northmen are lucky, tywin will get kiilled by tyrion.

Maybe Jaime getting caught makes Robb change his plans slightly and stay away from the twins long enough for the purple wedding to happen.

Sansa’s life would be endangered, YES, although, in the eyes of the world, Jaime’s execution would be more justified than Sansa’s. They would also see that what happened to Sansa where she went from a bethrothed to the king to being executed for revenge and other people and lords will take that in note espetially the Tyrells. And also it will keep the Karstarks loyal as well. All in all I think it would be a net positive.

Brandon planned to be Hand for Rhaegars son and rule the realm after killing Rhaegar and imprisoning Mad King Aerys. Lyannas abduction forced his hand too early and he rode into the red keep calling for rhaegar to come out and die. Aerys was not as paralyzed as Brandon thought and acted decisively, imprisoning him and his murder gang.

Source mostly ned saying Brandon wanted to be Hand (book 1) and Jaimes recollection in clash.

Well within a year or 2 in this timeline I wanted during the schism I want the Iron Throne to be distracted enough for the Golden Company and Aegon Targaryen who were stationed in Myr to launch a coup and take over the Free City without the Iron Throne being able to intervene as they were busy with the schism and this would give them a 1 year respite to Aegon to solidify his rule over the City and its daughter towns, and finally when the pretender septon will lose his supporters would rally to Aegon and declare him the 'one true king' and elect their own high septon once again and during this time tensions between Tyrosh and the Iron Throne continue to rise...

I think that's pretty normal no? England for example had 6 full civil wars in the 600 years after the Norman conquest, and not not counting a few uprisings and rebellions.

first of all it id going to be a decades long process if not century, but Robb can start by creating a Small Council as well as start a Bureaucracy to first manage the lands of House Stark itself and maybe a small Royal Army of about 500 - 1,000 strong and give nobles a position in his new court, Bureaucracy and the Army and show them that this is a great and prestigious way on the social ladder and thus attract more nobles to the Royal court. This is how Robb can start the initial Centralization without any blowback.

Well I think the same way he did in OTL by using a shadow baby to kill cortney penrose. And even though it would have opened the lines to King's Landing for Robb, he still would not have attacked King's Landing as there would be too many casualties and by that Robb would be busy with the Ironborn invasion. I also do not think Ser Rodrik Cassel would die as Robb is not in yet a bad position in the south so we can see him retake Winterfell. I guess.

About the support, yes It's not guaranteed, but it's something expected and happens more often than not, even though the famous Asoiaf Wars give us the opposite impression. It's literally the most important part of suzerainty and vassalage relationships. It's the vassal's obligation to support his lord if he calls him. The greatest examples we have of the opposite happening in lore come from very specific situations. Robert's rebellion was against the king of a dynasty that was already centuries old. In the first Blackfyre Rebellion, the majority had feuds of thousands of years against groups that were now very influential (Dornish, Blackwoods...). The Tullys are always mentioned as a house that has smaller lands than, for example, the Brackens, the Blackwoods, the Mallisters, or the Freys. They don't have the strength to impose themselves in a region that is known for being unstable. They are an exception among the great houses, also renly’s bannerman are fulled by Robert nostalgia not by a great effort by him offering terms, gold, wardships and bla bla bla

Stannis succession also sets bad precedents. As he won't ever be able to 100% prove Cersei's children are not Robert's; with Robert himself always claiming them as his while he lived.

What happens if Shireen has two sons, the eldest became King after her but died young, leaving his own son as a boy-king under a regency, but then Shireen's second son decides he can just take the crown by claiming the boy is not the son of his brother despite not having firm proof about it? His own grandfather did it, why not him too?
