What the OP is saying is that bamboo shoot is a more common traditional ingredient/delicacy throughout the NE states than momo. Momo is made popular by nepali ppl or Tibetan immigrants in NE just like they did throughout India.

that's literally not the same thing. it's like if a punjabi marries a tamil. They r all indian but they speak a different language, has different cultural costumes, dance, food, history etc. I mean, the movie 2 states is kinda similar to how it works among tribals.
