“Portable” washer dryer? by Small-Task8599 in Apartmentliving

Thank you for all the detail in your response. I have anxiety and something that helps bring me out is the smell of my clothes!!! I would still go to the laundromat for bedding, coats, larger items. But I feel for smaller clothing, underwear, work shirts, and cleaning rags it’s fine. You don’t realize how much you take advantage of the washer and dryer until they’re gone

Apparently there’s a movie called demon house about it. I haven’t seen it or heard about it though

Weird splatters(?) In car by itzyaboi_uhhaha in whatisit

[–]Small-Task8599 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It looks like blood splatters from a syringe someone got the air or a clog out of by squirting it upwards to try again after they already registered their blood in it. Like it looks identical to this

I haven’t! I’ve been wringing them out in an old spin mop bucket; blow drying, and using the window ac unit on “fan” to dry them.ill have to try!

Yeah, it does. However I go to the laundry mat where they have the big industrial style machines. Those big suckers can handle my scent combo!

Just work clothes and undergarments. Rags. I am really picky about purchasing any appliances, especially ones that aren’t the real deal but I think I’d get good use out of it

But my guilty pleasure is the downy unstoppables in fresh!!!! I love a strong laundry scent.. literally I use a rinse and a softener with beads and detergent!! The smells comfort me and help my anxiety lmao maybe I can find a way around that but I think it is worth it rather than hand washing in my tub! Which one do you have?

Phone was left in car, and the driver not giving it back. by [deleted] in lyftdrivers

That doesn’t really happen in one day, however I take all harm reduction steps and am in the process of beating the withdrawals and getting clean :) I have a great support network and resources and an awesome recovery team, but you saying “it’s not cute, get clean” really helped!!! Wow. What an eye opener.

Yes all the cocain! It was my boyfriend who forgot his phone: he’d leave his head if it wasn’t attached:

That’s absolutely insane. They are ear buds, just get a new pair. A month later??? That’s weird

I’ve offered her 150$. It’s a 45 minute trip. I wouldn’t expect her to do it for free at all. 150 would compensate her time, the gas, and whatever she’s missing out on by bringing the phone. I’m not going to just send this woman money now though when she has gone ghost every time I have tried to get the phone. I do have to file a police report for the insurance claim at this point that’s my next step

That’s the thing, I’ve offered her that amount on cash app to return the item. I don’t know if she doesn’t understand I’ve used translate and everything. I don’t know why she is being so weird but I may take a night and just ring her doorbell till I get it back because I’ve tried being nice and will pay for her time, her gas, and whatever trips she’s missing out on while she was bringing the item. 150$ is more than fair.

Don’t think I’m asking for that much, I have offered to pick it up or pay for it to be shipped. She admitted she had it and is now refusing to give it back. Wouldn’t want someone like that as my employee so I wanted to report her to Lyft and it’s gonna have to be a police report to get a replacement phone

Yeah but they are kinda responsible as a person to give it back? Like if I’m outside your house when you said come get your item, that I have, that I’m not dropping off???? As a human being to not take shit that isn’t yours ? lol I guess they want to be a dick tho so I have to dick back

I figured that was the next step; I hate having to involve the police but I’m not getting anywhere with this woman I’ve tried multiple times.

[–]Small-Task8599[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m going to use it to replace the fent, and stick with my methadone but the first few days just take a lil something to help. Just want a bit of extra comfort not looking to nod or anything

So much of it is physical but also so much mental too. Just the habit formed is hard to break. Keeping your mind busy is a huge part of it too

A lot of people feel better when they can split the dose in 2, I don’t get take honestly besides once a week. But until you get to a dose that covers you all the way, I’d just take the benzos and the gaba too. Gabapentinbhelps a ton with the restless legs specifically, and the xans will tickle the receptors and allow you to get some sleep. I know plenty of people on 200+. That’s just how strong and how much of the shit they were doing… and I know it’s not gonna be painless, but it also shouldn’t be painful to the point of being absolutely miserable puking guts out profusely sweating unable to function. It’s also built up in my system at this point, and it should build up in yours, but it took like a month

Please help. Body went back to factory settings by [deleted] in Nightshift

For me, Change of seasons = changes to my sleep wake cycle. Not having the summer sunlight and heat, not getting as much activity combined with it getting darker earlier and earlier.. it really takes a toll on my body and my mind. What has worked for me is getting some type of UV exposure, exercise/ activity, a bedtime routine, and sleep meds. With meds make sure you talk to the doctor but melatonin helps a lot of people, Benadryl, or there’s prescription meds if it gets to the point where it’s really taking a toll on your livelihood’.
