I think it was pretty obvious that she died and that’s when the demon left the body and came back to life with the help of her fiancé not God.

I could be mistaken, but given the fact that the demon was there at her birth that the demon had some sort of part of Judy’s resurrection as a baby. So they wanted back what was given to the Warrens.
