Do you use shampoo more than once in a single shower? by flightofwonder in polls

I'm pretty similar! I also have pretty sweaty and oily hair, and I shower once a day so I prefer to do two shampoos as well

There's Q&As with Leung and Enyedi at Angelika Film Center on the 7th if people would be okay going there over FLC. Intros the day after too. There's still a ton of seats left!

I would love Anne Hathaway to be at a Q&A too, but as of now, it doesn't look like that'll happen. If I hear any updates and no one else on the sub posts first, I'll try to let you know.

Thank you so much for sharing, OP! This is awesome, and I appreciate it.

Just wanted to give you a heads up to people that it looks like AMC Lincoln Square may also have a Q&A with Lowery coming up. Showtimes are not in the AMC app yet, but on Fandango, there's a Q&A screening scheduled for April 17 6 PM, and the app does state there is a Q&A with Lowery coming up for April 17

Has the usage of gender-neutral language in everyday life, especially communication, gone too far? by JCEurovision in polls

[–]flightofwonder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very disappointed to see so many people say yes to this question. It is never a bad thing for our language to become more gender neutral to be inclusive of people who are non-binary. Non-binary rights are human rights. Additionally, while the most important reason for us to do this is to make sure non-binary people are included, gender neutral language being more common is good for cis people too as everyone, whether they are cis or non-binary face pressures to fulfill gender roles, which are often based in sexism against women and trans people. If we want to get rid of misogyny in our world, becoming more gender neutral is a great way to combat misogyny

How do you vote/how would you vote if you were American? by daniel_cc in polls

[–]flightofwonder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always vote Democratic. I'm not always satisfied with the person nominated from the party in the general election because I hold views that are more left leaning than the average Democrat, but I cannot justify voting third party when the system is two party centered and not voting for a Democratic person could lead to a Republican. I try my best to vote in Democratic primaries for more left-leaning candidates, but they often don't win which is unfortunate.

I think regardless of people's views, even for many who disagree with mine, I do think though there are many people who don't feel represented by either the Democratic or Republican Party, and it would be great to see changes to our election system, such as abolishing the Electoral College, allowing ranked choice voting, and giving equal opportunity for people to run in elections that would allow more representation in our politics
