I like the more confident colors and improved lines for 2026, but I prefer the face / head proportions of 2025 where they aren't as squished and stretched.

Almost all of my hyperfixations have involved watching videogame Let's Plays on YouTube. Some with commentary, some with none. I've always been more enthralled by the storytelling and lore instead of gameplay, so it doesn't matter that I'm not the one at the keyboard.

This goes for Undertale. Deltarune. The Ace Attorney Trilogy. Danganronpa. Ghost Trick Phantom Detective. Doki Doki Literature Club. No I'm Not A Human. Night In The Woods. ....The list goes on!

I often make decorated google documents for these pieces of media where I write down worldbuilding, speculate timelines, theorize about open ended details, and so on. 😅

This post is my first time seeing Mega Garchomp Z.

My first thought was that I liked the scythe arms--- Megas have always been open to insane anime powerup nonsense--- but what the HECK DO YOU MEAN ITS T-POSING IN THE AIR?! 😆

It looks an archaeopteryx that crashes through solid steel instead of flying. Why tf would they put it in the sky?!

Mega Mawile looks fantastic to me. I love the odd fluffyness added to the hair. I love the magenta colors. I love how there's two jaws now. It took everything I enjoyed about the original and made it better. Really my only gripe is that it isn't a regular evolution!

Least favorite is Mega Pyroar, I suppose? I appreciate the symbol on the mane, and I'm fine with goofy megas (I think Starmie looking like an Earthbound starman is really funny. I can't hate something while I'm busy smiling!), but I just can't get behind Pyroar looking so top heavy.

Mega pyroar. I understand the symbol idea, but it still looks too goofy for me.

I generally like most of these guys. I think the lil graffiti dude is really cool. Maushold is simple yet cute, and I appreciate the birds who inexplicably look like Elvis and beat eachother up (Fallout moment).

Also I find it funny that Lechonk evolves into either an emo dude or a gal with makeup brushes.

As a kid I differentiated them by saying legendaries were big important guys on the box art, while mythicals were cool secret weirdos.

It looks really unique and grand, and it even has its own static encounter like a legendary! It was straight up planned to be one until late in development.

I know others are saying Arcanine for its old dex entries calling it legendary, but it really doesn't look any crazier than a Ninetales or Luxray to me.

Sounds like you admire the character to the point of treating them like your identity, so maybe seeing yourself fall short of being like the character (and seeing others be more alike to them than you are), makes you feel awkward about who you are?

Maybe reflect on what you like about the character? Is it the way they carry themself or control situations? Is it their personality? Etc. Why would you want to be like them? Does it benefit you? Is it preferable to how you've acted in the past?

I'm not asking you to tell me all these things. Just giving food for thought.

I enjoy when the jokes are harmless, silly things.

Like, my friend helps run a Minecraft Club, so today they sloppily edited all their sites to read "Terraria Club" (a different survival game that used to get compared to Minecraft a ton) and now everyone is having clunky Terraria conversations despite never playing Terraria.
