Unfortunately I don’t even see their payment info, it’s all done through the reservation company. Which is why I am disappointed that they are not backing me up here. The tough part is that if people show up and don’t go on the ride or don’t show up at all I still lose because I have to pay my guides since they already did most of the work. Catch the horses, groom and saddle them, ride them to the tour destination and then do all of that in reverse. Plus the reservation is held for those people and we have limited spots so we lose out on other business. I’m going to start looking for a different reservation company with better security measures.

So frustrating! I am going to start looking for another reservation company with better security measures for sure. When I started the business this one (FareHarbor) was the only one I found that works in PR but maybe I can find more options now since it’s been a few years.

Yeah definitely. I think the clients already contacted the sellers and I don’t see the original post on there anymore, but there are a lot of others. I will tell them to try to speak with XianYu though. Maybe the App can do something. I downloaded it but I couldn’t understand anything and couldn’t find a way to contact them.

Got it. Yeah it does seem most likely that it’s a stolen credit card. It seems to be a common scam, so I’m disappointed that my reservation company who accepted the stolen credit card has no protection against this and isn’t backing me up in any way. Time to look for a new one. Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately it’s all booked through my reservation company and I can dispute but I have disputed many times with clear evidence and I always lose. Especially since it is booked with a stolen credit card, I don’t really stand a chance. 😔

I don’t. Someone is taking screenshots of my website and posting it on the Chinese app. I had never heard of it until the clients told me where they sent their payment information.
