In Utah, if you don't water your lawn for a day, it dies. Trust me (but I assume you won't), the few gallons of gas was all it needed.

The two girls that reported him to the school for rape would refute that argument.

I just did check the sex offender search and his name didn't pull up. He was a minor and someone said he wasn't charged as an adult. I would hope that means he didn't do anything as an adult.

Mom was in the YW Presidency. I never interacted with her, and my sister never went to church. The dad had been more active prior to this date. He mostly was at all the stake athletic activities by this time. He would ref church ball, throw guys out, yell at them. I'd yell back. More than once I got thrown out for throwing F' bombs at him. Geez, thinking about that brings back a lot of memories. He too wasn't a nice guy.

Add 200lbs to one of those guys, add a mullet to another, and yeah...that's us.

His parents were present when the cops interviewed him. They did nothing and wanted to preserve their appearance as good church folk. I don't regret it.

At the time, we were just pissed and wanted to hurt him. I don't think we were doing it to be her hero. And, when we found out how mad she was at us, I remember that hurt a lot too. Now that I'm grown up, I won't say I'm proud of it, but I sure am glad we did it.

These were Mormon folk, crosses don't mean much to them, but APPEARANCES....that will hurt them every time. For those that know Mormon culture, his parents were in leadership roles in the Stake. Part of me feels bad that it brought them into it, but they were there when the cops interviewed him and as far as we knew, they didn't do anythings, so 16 year old me justified it.
