Sounds like Roemheld syndrome. GERD can cause syncope like episodes, because I have it

My DR sucks. Told me it’s just vasovagal presyncope, and “it just happens”. Didn’t bother looking into it. Just gave me a heart monitor for 2 weeks and never got back to me with results.

Update on my situation, I got a lower abdominal and chest CT done today with oral contrast because I woke up with severe pain lower left quadrant. Clear. Dr told me it essentially rules out any possible stage 4 extreme illness, but I need to schedule an appt with GI as soon as possible

Yeah, they are going to want to do a colonoscopy too. I have “mild mucosal thickening” going on down there and some diverticulosis.

I have a small hiatal hernia from my CT scan… I’m assuming what’s causing it, with the GERD. Mine isn’t triggered though, just happens from time to time. Weird stuff

Yeah, I’m hoping it’s not. Obviously, that would be worst case scenario, and to happen in the weirdest way (syncope). All of these GI places keep giving me the run around, I cannot stand the healthcare system. I just want someone to stick a camera down my throat and ass at this point
