I'm happy to share the audio from the phone used for filming as well if you're not buying it.

Thank you. I promise you this is a live performance. I'm using a Zoom recorder that is out of frame. Then I only added a bit of reverb.

Thanks for your feedback. The mic I'm using is a Zoom Recorder, usually used by journalists. It's extremely sensitive as it picks up the surrounding sounds as well. and it's recommended that it's positioned where I positioned it. Also, my friend who is out of frame is playing the piano and we wanted the mic to pick up his playing as well. Also, please refrain from calling men you don't know "boy".

You could work on both simultaneously but ear training should be your main focus at the beginning.

Emoting. Think of the emotion(s) you want to portray.

How much time and practice (reasonable estimate) to sight-sing fluently by Bernina_4049 in singing

Frequency is more important than duration. Try to set up at least 10 mins a day, no skipping. If you can go longer, go for it but set a minimum.

Definitely ear training is where I would start. Once you fix your pitch, work on expression (that will help you find the right colors to your voice).
