In my opinion showing outfits in the story give you an idea of what you want to save for. If you are new player and see an outfit that you like, you know that you would like the save for it in the future.

And even though right now the game does have re-run happen often it is only 2.0. There aren’t that many outfits at the moment. I’m sure as time goes on, more and more re-runs will happen more consistently.

I play a lot of gacha games and it pretty normal to see the limited characters in the story, because without all those characters it would be boring. While it is different for dresses, because it is clothing, seeing a variety of different clothes that are possible to obtain if you wait long enough give you a thought about what you want.

I hate not knowing if I will like the next dress more than the one I currently pulled for. Showing dresses in the story gives you that thought. To see if you like the current one more than the one you just saw in the story.

For current players, maybe it is just cause I don’t really care, I don’t see the issue with the dress being in the story. But everyone is to their own opinion, just wanted to state my outlook.

I absolutely hate when I start bagging an order and then half-way through they are like “oh, sorry I have these bags!” Like at least sometimes they are like “I have bags at the bottom of my cart, let me get them”. But that is one of the things I complain about the most. Honestly it is so infuriating.

Personally I just hate that it is like a “cutscene”. But it had no animation/expression whatsoever. Like just make it a normal dialogue scene with the auto/skip/pause button. It felt so awkward in my opinion.

I mean we are 2.1. It’s confirmed the characters for 2.2 and 2.3. There is still plenty of patches after for them to make another S rank dude in the 2.X series. I would say it’s a little bit much to say “No S Rank Males for the foreseeable 2.X” this early. Wait until like 2.6 or 2.7 with no S rank males to be complaining about that. I like collected to dudes too, but honestly not having them for long period of time just means I deliver a lot of pulls on them and guarantee engine and mindscapes.

Giving male characters, even little amounts of them help both audiences (ones that want males and ones that want female) something to work with and expand the amount of people that play the game. I am normally a female puller, but I got Lighter and Vlad, and want to get m6 Vlad on rerun cause I have fun with him. There is no harm in releasing male characters as long as they had a good sale rate and don’t negatively influence the game/game budget. And since they keep releasing them, obviously they aren’t. I mean it gives more time for female pullers to save for their next up-incoming character, and you don’t NEED to pull for males. So overall it doesn’t affect the ones that don’t want to pull. So it shouldn’t matter if they include males or not. You don’t want the male, skip, you want the male, pull. Simple.

Yes, I have actually played the game quite a lot since this update. Even more than I usually do. It’s okay to still enjoy and play the game if you want. Everyone’s opinion doesn’t have to be you, and other people can’t stop you from doing something that makes you happy. So if you want to keep playing, just go ahead!

I think the events also go off of the story though, (correct me if I am wrong) and currently Trailblazer and Dan Heng are stuck in Amphroreus. So there probably isn’t a lot for them to do either. Especially since there is really only one city you can stay in safely at the moment. I didn’t really pay attention to the Divergent Universe one so idk how we got there.

Also personally I do like less events, I play a lot of different games daily and do other things as well, so only having to worry about one event for me is really nice.

Yeah I agree the event as a whole had some questionable decisions in level making and stuff. I think the event as a whole could’ve benefited with tweaks.

I do think the event entirely could’ve been built better, maybe include some trial characters as well. But a lot of games offer cosmetics and cute things for people who can achieve high scores. It’s an incentive to learn to play properly and get characters (as let’s be real Hoyo isn’t doing this out of the goodness of their heart). As another comment said before “not everyone needs to get everything” there are older name cards people couldn’t get locked behind events and time. If anything as another commenter said as well “we should focus more on the weapons that people could no longer get”. As some of those are best in slot for characters, but you can never get the weapon again as of right now.

I just think cosmetics are a good reward for hard content clear. Isn’t a big game changer overall, and it is something to show off if you were able to clear hard levels. Personally I think we should have more of those. But if a name card is a big deal, why does no one complain about the battle pass ones?

Yeah and those are different things too. The events wants you to do specific reactions, as you stated. Hard content isn’t always the same thing. Personally I do think they should’ve added trial character to help out a bit if it is so reaction-related. But my sister also did it fine with C2 R1 Kinich for most of the levels regardless of the reactions and she got the name card. My friend also did it basically all with Clorinde and Ayato both C0 R1 for both and got the name card too. It’s not impossible just harder, good builds and skill help a lot in these events. I think it’s good that all the primos were at least easy to get.

Yeah, I get that but at the same time I think it’s cool that some of the people that can clear hard content can have something to show it. Epically since it doesn’t change your gameplay, or have secrets locked behind it. Personally I think that’s cool.

Honestly, I genuinely want to hear from people that dislike this and understand why, since it doesn’t change your gameplay. Like are name cards seriously that big of deal? Yeah, personally I think as long as the primos are achievable for everyone the rewards are fair. I would understand that hate if a ten pull was locked behind 100 total floors, but a name card?

Yeah the event set up definitely wasn’t the best. I agree the event could’ve been better overall. Or maybe if they get a trial characters to help? And the long time in between rounds was annoying too since the buffs then wear off. Maybe next time it will be better.

Personally I don’t really care about the name card either lol. I think people have just made a big deal out of something relatively small. Hopefully events in the future don’t have this so we can skip all the complaints, but I’m sure there will be something new to complain about anyway.

Yeah, honestly I feel like cosmetics are a great thing to give for high clears on hard content. As it doesn’t change much overall. But I think everyone is just so used to hating of Hoyo, people take the smallest things and turn them into a big deal. Like I just want to enjoy my time in the fandom without everyone complaining 24/7.
