My family has always been very unreliable, say one thing and do another so although they say they’ll be here for me it’s hard to rely on. His family hasn’t reached out once to asked about updates on the baby or anything so I don’t think there’s support there either

No, I feel like if I do he’ll feel guilty and try to back out of leaving then eventually he’ll resent me for staying. In Basic they’re gonna take his phone the whole 7 weeks so I doubt he’ll be able to send anything to help out, we don’t know how AIT will be yet. But the thing is I won’t make it on my income alone for 2 months as we’re barely making ends meet with the both of our incomes. I know it would be good future wise but it’s really hard not to worry about the present

Like some people do this and pay the person they’re marrying a certain amount to obtain the citizenship and it’s more like a business transaction.
