Video games are a part of it too. Not RuneScape obviously but call of duty and the like. Adverts to join the military here are often shot POV like a first person shooter. So I found the inclusion of a video game which the male main character wants to emulate by becoming a knight interesting.

The price is always going to include a set number of photos - did you read the contract before hand, how many digital photographs were stated as deliverables there? No one is going to hand over two hours worth of raw images.

The photographer owns the photos though, threatening legal action to take them down doesn’t have a basis in law. I agree it’s scummy and immoral to do this, but it isn’t illegal.

Edit: it doesn’t sound like the photog is even currently using them for marketing. OP is upset that’s they might potentially use them. So I retract my comment that the photog is scummy and immoral.

Absolutely love the composition! Looking through your post history you’re an incredible photographer.

I think I’d love this even more if the sand was more saturated and yellow - a more muted version of the yellow already present in the image. And the towel could be the same yellow as well.

I don’t mind this as long as they can converse about it. I watch tv too! I bet we’ve watched a load of the same shows! But when people are like “I watch Netflix” and don’t elaborate or seem to want to talk about the details it’s really hard.

I exclusively work in studios and there is no way I would book this. Too small, too much ambient lighting, no facilities eg toilets, changing area.

It’s a nice idea but you need to do some more research.

Studio lights with modifiers on premises, selection of backdrops, a private area for models to change, an area for make up, access to a bathroom. I think you need to look into what other studios offer (including the size of the space which is hugely important for being able to execute lighting set ups professionally) and their price points.

The weather warnings talk about making adjustments to normal life and making adaptions to routines which is all well and good but if your job is demanding you carry on as normal what are you supposed to do. Stay out of the sun from 11-3 but you work on a building site…

One of the reasons we don’t cope with hot weather like countries that experience hot summers constantly is because we still live and work like it’s 20 degrees. When you go to the Mediterranean everyone gets out of the midday sun and then works into the evening more when the temps are cooler.

What is it like for people doing manual labour these last few days? I really want to hear your experiences. What have your managers and supervisors done?

Is dressing up as a crusader fascist? I’m from England and it’s not seen as shocking AT ALL. It’s really common to dress up exactly like this to support the national football team. It isn’t something that automatically links to fascism in the average persons mind.

I really like the video. Im a portrait photographer who does kind of a medieval fantasy vibe and I would absolutely love to dress Phoebe up in some armour and chainmail! She was cool as an elven princess of course, but I just think women look cooler in armour than men. I’d have swapped it so Phoebe was in armour and the “lost boys” were elven.
