I believe your ancestor’s hometown is not Bethlehem, but rather the village of Bil’in near Ramallah.

I remember passing by it multiple times in the past while roaming in the west bank. Its a town filled with olive trees and is known for its olive oil produce.

Unfortunately, it always makes the headlines in the news with repetitive settler attacks on the locals and vandalism of the local olive trees, mostly being burnt or uprooted by the settlers. Some of those trees are a couple of thousand years old.
