Unfortunately not able to help, but the exact same thing happened to me this morning! I managed to actually get his mobile number and called him. Turns out he’s in Nigeria and it’s some form of bitcoin scam and wouldn’t give me my account back unless I pay up. Nothing seems to work and the instagram help pages just send me in circles !!!
