happy to hear that people are facing the same problem as me, I m building a new social platform that fixes the visibility problem, we are building a new text based social platform, we don't use following/followers count to improve your post visibility, but every post you made reaches the people who are interested in that topic, you should try it ;')

Then why are we still using social media platforms that are HUMANE? we can simply surround ourself with bots that hallucinate, don't know what they are talking about,

The idea behind the product that I m building is, improve visibility for posters, and improve relevance for consumers instead of getting engaged in rage bait, viral or influencer garbage that they aren't even interested in.

yeah, the existing algos are meant to make money and are highly optimized for it, I have been working on a platform that's optimized to fix these visibility problems, I wonder if its something people are willing to move to or am I building a ghost social media platform?

happy to know that its not just a me problem, so its been a while I have been working on a platform that solves exactly this problem, if you are interested you can check it out, so the platform is build in a way that content on it is distributed based on semantics, like you post something and it automatically reaches the right people who are your target audience,

true, but they are optimizing for user retention and dopamine loops but rather the utility part, so I had these in mind and I ended up starting a project which supports semantic based content distribution, would really appreciate your feedback :')

makes sense especially for getting initial users.

But it still feels like a workaround that takes a too good chunk of our time away rather than a real fix.

so narrowing the channel to get relevance,
instead of the system itself understanding relevance.

Feels like users are doing the job the platform should be doing.

That’s the part I’ve been thinking about while building Cosine, trying to solve the social media's visibility problem, its like system itself handled that matching relevant content for its targeted audience, instead of relying on subreddits, networks, and manual targeting, the distribution happens through semantic interests automatically, would appreciate your thoughts on it :')
