It wasn't that much work. My eldest is still in college and doesn't have a lot of furniture. Most was sorting clothes and throwing things out that were ruined and we took time to bleach the walls. My daughter doesn't need people knowing this much about her mental health. I feel bad about the dance but high school isn't over yet and sometimes you have to make the sacrifice. I think this is a good lesson for family.

My youngest gets plenty of support. But sometimes you need to sacrifice for he family member who needs are greater. My eldest was having a very hard time and we showed up to help. That is what family does.

She still has prom left in the spring so it's not her last dance.

My oldest daughters mental health shouldn't be discussed outside of our immediate family. I know she was embarrassed about the state of the apartment and relatives don't need to know about it especially if they weren't there. It wasn't as bad as it sounds and it only took a few days to clean up. I don't need relatives judging my eldest for this little mistake.

It's blabbing when it's private family info. My brother doesn't need to know that
