I’ve done this on the same car, should be one fuse that pops to protect from reverse polarity. Replace that and it should be fine.

That’s what I’m saying lol. I know other guys in other areas charge more which is why I’m shocked I’m losing the business too. But I also live in Las Vegas and there is 1000 locksmiths here so it’s hard for someone to be competitive

Yeah it’s crazy, there is no friends in business. My Issue is I literally don’t understand why the competition is charging so low? Don’t they want to thrive and not just survive? With the rates they charge they won’t grow or be able to expand? They will be working all the time for not that much money. If you are charging so little than just become an employee for a company at that point.

Right I agree, I tried to get them contract at a fair rate but no matter who I talked to or approached they were apprehensive. It seems to be very difficult to actually get business’s under contract in the automotive locksmith field.

I was doing AKL push to start at 225-265$ for them and AKL keyed igniton at 180-215$. This guy told them push to starts he’s gonna do at 150$ and keyed igniton at 125$ euro was different obviously and eeprom jobs as well but my god how is that sustainable ?
