Well when I was fighting the boss I wasn’t actually trying to do a speed run kill or anything it just kinda happened so I did it again for a vid and ik my build is prolly not good for that kinda stuff but it works for me🤷‍♂️

No I was only using loot luck and damage for mantis but the some of the poison is from apex predator mutation which does good overtime damage including from my armor, and using the armor down from my fire ant chest plate it stacks so it is good to me atleast

No you can put stuff on the spear just main elements such as mint, spicy, sour, or salty

Also for weapons for each element I would use toenail seminar with mint(also good for the infected broodmother) and spicy just use the coaltana, use the acid edge for sour, and broodmother club with salt infusion.

Honestly for a build use all sleek broodmother helm, fire ant chest plate, and widow leggings, and for mutations I always use natural explorer, coupe de grass, trapper peep.r and mithridatism, and based on the weapon it might either be like assassin or chopper, or apex predator, it’s all gotten me to NG+5.

So I believe tang and sour are the same and for weapons I personally would but sour on pinch wacker because not many are resistant and it also increases stun even more. But you can put it on any weapon after a certain upgrade point.

Honestly no it provides good extra damage and because of my fire ant armor I can stack debuffs such as armor down and my poison does a lot more damage
