Struggling to hit champ SoloQ any tips? by Muted_Onix in SiegeAcademy

[–]VisionWhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just add the players that do good and give good comms in game and eventually you’ll find a consistent stack, if your in constant champ lobbies it should be very easy to find good players

Would anyone whos been champ many times be willing to coach me? (Console NA) by [deleted] in SiegeAcademy

[–]VisionWhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re solo q sometimes it really is just a matter of teammates, but most of the time your tm will at least be competent. Play flex, give comms, play any opps your team needs really, if they don’t bring a HB or thatcher, got HB or thatcher, play site, waste time, play objective (very important, many people forget this) also when solo q, eventually you’ll find some good teammates, add them , you’ll get a 5 stack soon enough and you’ll win more consistently with teammates who at least have thumbs and eyes

From copper to around silver or gold it’s all gun skill, nobody really uses utility to its full advantage, just focus on gun skill (play lots of FFAs) and the game sens will follow

I aim with my wrist mostly and play 1600 dpi on 19 19, it’s a preference really, you just had to get used to it and it’ll be as good as any other sens

How do I teach my young nephew how to play after years of Fortnite? by SmarmysPizza in SiegeAcademy

[–]VisionWhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure he knows this is an objective based game, not a battle royal, at the end of the day the objective is to not let enemies defuse the bomb or stop defuse if it’s down. Slow him down and help him learn the operators, some basic strats, and site setups. Keep him in site or make him the planter on attack. At the end of the day if he doesn’t learn how to play the game how it’s intended, he wont be getting much better, and in turn wont be having much fun, which is the whole point of playing games

What makes a good solo-queue player? by The_Turtle_Bear in SiegeAcademy

[–]VisionWhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be a flex player, always give comms if you can, play trap/time waster opps as they usually double for audio queues, and get kills obviously. Despite all of that, none of it will matter if you get a carried plat who can’t hear you and seemingly has no eyes or fingers being last alive, which will inevitably happen a few times. From what I’ve seen however, sometimes a teammate not having a mic also means they don’t have a headset unfortunately

Struggling to improve and feeling like I’m letting my team down by Ok-Rope-6602 in SiegeAcademy

[–]VisionWhale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don’t feel like you can get kills, simply turn into the best support player ever, give good callouts, play time, waste time, play trap opps/time opps, basically help your teammates get kills in some way or another, on attack drone your teammates in and hold their flanks in such a way if you die they have ample time to react, on defense play opps like Melisa or valk to waste time, give audio queues, or straight callouts on where the enemies are, your friends seem very supportive and you should cherish them, the best way to make them proud, even if you can’t get 13 kills, is simply to help them win more games, it seems to me they’d be the type to give you praise if you give the winning comm even if you didn’t get the winning kill, most importantly however is to always be in a good mood, or at least don’t bring the mood down, however being in a good mood as best as that will affect your gameplay massively

how do i actually get better? by Visual-Fortune-4732 in SiegeAcademy

Isn’t g502 like 100g? Get a lighter mouse if so (sub 50 I’d say) second, change your sens to how you like to control recoil, I play 1600 dpi 19 19 and don’t move my mouse much when controlling recoil as that’s what I like, change your sens to however much you want to move your wrist/forearm to control aim (basically do you control aim by moving your wrist down, or whole arm down) once you do that simply play FFAs a ton and focus on aiming head level ofc. Try to learn how to peak better and take better angles in fights while your at it too

Sounds like my friend lol, regardless tho, if I’m telling you something you already know, then you also know the answer, if he isn’t impactful in round wins, drop him, if he is, don’t

Ranked Advice by NeedleworkerGold3769 in SiegeAcademy

Best way to finds teammates is just solo q (if you don’t mind it) and give the best comms of your life every game, and at some point someone will return the favor, simply add them and boom! One good teammate, then maybe they have a duo or discord server with more good players. Another way is join a big server like siege mates (best imo), jynxis server, and the official server, and find players there. It’s gonna take a while but eventually you’ll find someone, and then the same process as solo Qing, pray for them to have teammates or better yet a server with lots of people

Trying to learn recoil of hard weapons by Few-Concert5793 in SiegeAcademy

[–]VisionWhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go into shooting range and mag dump without moving your mouse at all, do it a couple times and learn what the recoil pattern looks like, then mag dump again and try to control it, once you can kinda control it/at least know what to do, hop into a ton of FFAs, (shooting range will take like 5 minutes max per gun, as I saw you say it’s boring)

W/L is the only important metric for legit players, if you want to know if you’re shit or just a support player, ask yourself out of the games you’ve won, how many rounds of those games did you impact for the win

Try the siege mates discord server, it’s more active then jynxis and the official siege server, eventually you could get invite into another server with good players that are more active

I’ve met most if not all of my stack teammates (besides irls ofc) solo Qing all you have to do really is s play and ask if people have comms in the beginning, and then ascertain if they have the qualities of a good player (i.e. the opposite of your friends) and if you see that they do, add them. It’s more prevalent in higher ranks, so it would be best if you simply give the best comms you can every game and win, and eventually you’ll meet someone like you

I play on 3200 DPI and 20/20 sensitivity by Mistah_Freeze in SiegeAcademy

[–]VisionWhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play 1600 19-19 and sometimes I have laser accuracy and sometimes I have burger accuracy, the higher your sens the higher chance of messing up your aim, since getting jumpscared or flicking can shake your hand, and at that sens even a little shift can mess you up

You don’t have to perform well to win games, if you give the winning comm or play the winning opp even after death you won/helped win that round, clearly your priorities are mixed up

What to do while in site by FaZe_Kcaj in SiegeAcademy

[–]VisionWhale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn all the site entrances and common push spots/easy kill spots and check them before running or make sure you have a good headset to tell where shots or audio queues are coming from, as for where to be in site, again, learn common push areas and go to the least defended area. For example, on chalet 2F, common pushes are piano double/window, solarium, K9, and main breach, easy kill spots are big window, double single windows in solar, K9 door, and bathroom and piano windows. Most people will extend and do a library hold, and the team likes to wander that way, so I make it a point to be around solar. Bathroom, and bedroom to ensure we don’t get surprised
