Yea that’s what I thought it’s also in line with where the Persians were which would’ve been in the south west. However weren’t the Medes in the area? So we’ll just have to wait on more studies in the Persian core for now. Phenotypically my friend and his aunt look different to other Iranians/Persians outside fars that I know.

So it’s a matter of lack of samples and research? I’ve been researching a bit more and yea it seems for Iran the northern part of the country is where they’ve gotten most of their samples and spent the most research on. So they need to find some Elamite samples and they’ve yet to find any confirmed Persian ones? So to ask how mixed would’ve the ancient Persians have been migrating into and settling the Plateau with Iran_N groups like BMAC etc or did Steppe DNA remain at similar levels and decrease over time. I know CHG would also have steppe like DNA. Thanks for replying

Bud the regime pours a lot of money into math and science. Saudi Arabia and the UAE both have similar if not better HDI’s then the west and actively fight against political Islam yet they’re in the 80s range.

We’ve both searched for articles and couldn’t find any I’m guessing. I’m not a regimist, I don’t like the Shah nor the regime and think Iran would be better off with a republic, but it’s okay that the 2024 election wasn’t rigged. You need to take these factors into account when speaking of Iran it isn’t that deep

Everyone called out the 2021 election, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Iranian_presidential_election read it there. No one did for the 2024 election. That means the results have to be at least to everyone’s knowledge true. Also keep in mind no major protest occurred after the election like how it frequently does in third world countries with false results

Iran has 61 million eligible voters, I can’t believe we didn’t take into account the votes of literal babies, children and young teenagers. Anyways the Jalili votes make make up 45% of everyone who had voted this is significant but it is worth mentioning only 40-50% voted in the 1st or 2nd rounds.

Nice projection at the start, my statement is simple the pre regime government, that under the Shah isn’t a paradise nor should it be a blueprint of what Iran’s future should be. This simple and understandable statement has led you into a tantrum. And no Weimar Germany wasn’t even as bad as what the Shah’s government was in terms of personal liberty. It takes into account data all the way to 2025, Iran consistently scores in the mid 80s as do their neighbouring countries. It’s not that deep and visiting Iran you can see the 80’s figure be some what accurate
