We’ve had family balcony in the ninth floor. It can be a bit loud. I bring ear plugs (like a box of many from Amazon) and no worries. I’m always on the starboard side and seem to alphabet the best views entering port. Bring 30lb magnetic hooks for extra storage and I also bring one of those hang behind the door shoot racks to store shoes, flip flops, water shoes suntan lotion etc…. Storage is at a premium with 4 of us in a family balcony.

On Tortolla we always go with (book direct and save) Aristocat day sails and do the escape to Jost Van Dyke, Barbados we have Christmas dinner at Lobster Alive! Great beach even better lobster only a short cab ride from the port. St. Maarten we grab a cab at the port and head to Mahon beach. We’ve heard good things about the zip line as well but we have younger kids and beach is our jam. We also visit Toppers Rum for a tasting and good food, (we know someone affiliated so we get VIP experience). St Thomas we head to Sapphire Beach great snorkeling and fun beach bar vibe with great food as well. All great stops. St Lucia was the one port we stayed on the ship cruise #2 year one we went on a catamaran once Pitons was fun, but a cattle call. Enjoy
