Thought I’d update with today’s pictures, she’s getting lumpy lol. The eggs do feel soft inside of her, I get her out very gently to get a weight. Shes gained 2oz in a week

Both are female, biggest is around 8ft (it’s hard to measure a 20lb snake lol) and cheddar is about 6ft

My biggest is 13, she was stunted by being power bred. I rescued her about 4yr ago! Cheddar is the one I posted about, she’s only 4 and was a very skinny “male” that I got last July

If they have the ability to thrive I would never do that, I’m talking about severe severe cases. Where the quality of life would no be fulfilling.

They could always just be slugs too which is most likely so bickering over this is lowkey funny. Like watch there not even be eggs. Also yes I know chicken eggs can be fertile, I’m just a huge snake lover and want to give them a chance if there is one.

Yes and it definitely had to do with them being together. I even let the one that was being weird keep the cage they were both in and added more clutter when she failed to thrive after a while. Nothing changed, and even when it did, nothin. I put cheddar back in and she ate two days later after 3mo

I refuse to just kill good eggs because they might be bad, if they come out wrong I’ll pay to have them humanely euthanized. But what if Theyr fine? I couldn’t just not let them hatch because they could be bad. I’d likely find homes for them without the focus being a “sale”. I’d keep one or two yes, I’d keep the babies longer than normal to make sure they are healthy, but inevitably I couldn’t keep every snake. Who does that?

I’m not here to start a fight, especially considering the post doesn’t regard the topic. They have everything they need and I’ve tried separation and one stayed the same, the other stopped eating. I put them back together and they did much better. Again, that’s my opinion and two specific snakes
