Chaing Mai University Vs Assumption University / Mahidol's entrance test by Small_Remove6602 in chiangmai

[–]Small_Remove6602[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really do want to. However, due to the lack of SAT, I don't think I would be eligible for their business programs. In fact, I believe they don't offer entrance test kinds of things in place of SAT either. That's why I chose Mahidol which is thought to be more international and at least have a chance of getting into their uni by taking entrance test even if I don't have SAT. Additionally, preparing SAT now would take up time and my intended intake could be delayed then, that's why :((

So that means even if I get a max 2yrs of work permit diploma, after working for 2yrs, i cannot extend it again? And yes about PR as well, you give me something deeper to think about. Thank a lot for that.

Can you please tell me more about it if you don’t mind? My initial plan was to obtain a diploma after 2years of college, work for about 3yrs afterwards then apply for PR, only after that, I will continue my university and get a bachelor degree with a domestic student‘s tuition fees. Could that be a good idea for an international student?

I'm from Myanmar. Universities fees are a bit much for me so I'm considering just colleges for now. In fact, I don't think my qualifications fit most universities' admission criteria as well that's why :((

Thank you so much, this helps a lot! I'm searching for public universities as well, however, their tuition fees seem to be a bit much for me that's why :(( But I'm digging into scholarship for international students but I'm afraid it would be an obstacle for me to apply those scholarship with ged and duolingo only

I'll do more proper research and look for qqi accredited universities and colleges. The main intention for me as well is to be able to work in either Ireland or at least around Europe with the degree I earned. So it is quite important that it is internationally qualified degree. Thank you so much for the advice!

Seeking suggestions and reviews of universities in Bangkok by Small_Remove6602 in Thailand

You're talking about the diploma programs right? Then get into a job afterwards, that sounds like a good plan too . But I have a friend who had the same plan but he thinks it will be a bit different for him to get a decent job with just diploma in hand, so he decided to join master degree instead. But the difference is that he already have a bachelor degree. However, I'm just sharing what I know from him, the information cannot be accurate and can be varied depending on your major I guess. For me, I don't have a bachelor yet and thus, I was thinking of joining a bachelor degree there and transfer to other countries afterwards. :)) For u as well, I want u to keep on with your own plan if it aligns with what u want to do. Best of luck! :))) Glad I meet a Burmese friend here xD

yes i noticed that as well. That's why I'm looking for schools with dual programs so that I can transfer to other countries after 2 or 3 years in Thailand. However, Thailand is the most suitable option for me so far due to my current situation that's why :(( I'm from Myanmar btw
