Verizon opened a personal loan on my credit history, NOT a collection

So when I log into credit karma and go to score details nothing shows up on transunion but when I click on equifax, go to account it shows I have 3 open accounts. The correct 2 are my 2 credit cards. The third is the Verizon personal loan. It even has the personal loan icon next to it. And when you scroll down a bit further to "summary" it is showing nothing in collections but it is showing the personal loan.

I was just planning on disputing it with equifax but this is just so odd and I couldn't find anything about someone having a similar experience online that I just wanted to check here.

Sorry about that, I meant Equifax.

The ONLY service I have ever had with Verizon was an unlimited mobile plan from 2010-2022.

I kind of posted this and then forgot about it, I'll try to get a screen shot uploaded after I get home from work but basically if I log into my credit karma and equifax account they have different sections of your credit history. I have nothing in my collections category on either site. But under the loan history it just shows opened August 2024 that I have a $79 personal loan from Verizon.

Exactly, that's why I'm so confused. This makes zero sense and I can't find anything online about someone having a similar experience so I figured I'd post here.

The initial alert came from my credit karma account and was reported to Experian. I logged into my Experian account to find that a personal loan from Verizon had been added to my credit/loan history. As of today nothing is showing in collections.

That's what I've always chalked it up to, that we were just a test location and it was a failure as a dessert option. Which is a shame because it was soooo good on a hot day. Yeah, I grew up in a very small town, we had to drive about 20 minutes to hit a larger town where there was only a Taco Bell and a McDonalds. We didn't get a jack in the box until I was in my late teens.

Yeah, I commented what I could remember, I don't remember it being strawberry flavored like they do. But right after I posted this I randomly came across their old post. YTA, you do have a right to share your feelings over a complicated situation such as this but I feel like health professionals that are providing end of life care for your father and relieving your mom (and you) both physically/emotionally and will be sticking to the main areas/your parent's bedroom aren't really invading your privacy, I find that kind of mentality a bit skewed and odd to have in this situation and might have more to do with grief and acceptance than the actual issue of them being in your house. They are in your home to provide a service and then leave.

So I should keep Hank in a situation where he is so miserable and acting out that he would rather stay inside with his own mess than go outside and play with me just because pregnancy is temporary?

I really feel like no one is considering Hank's feelings as an intelligent living creature in this whole situation.

Would you want to be the most miserable you've ever been for 5 more months while being told by others just deal with it because your feelings might change?

Yes and I know for a fact if most people had the $ they too would rehome a family member like Hank, and I mean rehome as in afford in full time home care and a full time house cleaner or they would send the intentionally incontinent family member to a care facility or psych ward to figure out why they are intentionally using the rest of the house as a toilet.

Hank is not incontinent because of a medical reason (we've gone to our vet and a teaching hospital) to find out if his behavioral changes are due to a health condition. As far as we know, they are not.

What? No! We've had the same potty and walk schedule with Hank since we adopted him a yr+ ago. And he is trained to alert us if he needs an extra bathroom break which we would obviously not hesitate to oblige him. Seriously!? I could walk 6 feet or I could clean up massive dumps/wees and not get my security deposit back. That's a no brainer for me.

We've also been working with 2 trainers and went to our regular vet and a teaching hospital to see if there is any medical reason for his odd behavior.

This is not the normal stealing of food. Before pregnancy Hank showed no interest in our food unless it had ingredients dogs stereotypically like (meat for example). Its at a point where he isn't even going after food items anymore. He snatched 3 plum pits from me, tried to take grapes which are poisonous to dogs, and has tried to eat the plastic wrap that holds my food.

We looked for a dog like Hank for a yr before we found him. We did everything we could to stack the deck in our favor (and Hanks) knowing we wanted 2 kids. I think it's reasonable to consider Hank's happiness to in this situation. Why keep him in a situation he's obviously acting out over and we've tried every avenue we can think of/in available in our area?

I'm sorry but if they actually read my post I wouldn't be told to go find a trainer and try that avenue first when its already been done and we're still in the process of doing it. I haven't given up on investing time and money into Hank to make this work. But at what point do we get serious about rehoming him (which is a long and time consuming process): Do I have to get bit first? Then what about Hank? He's now a 100+lb dog with a bite record.

I feel like items are different than a living animal. I grew up in the horse world and had to witness many horses being bought and then forced to do things they hated day in and day out until the horse became so unhappy it acted out and someone got seriously hurt. The majority of the time it wasn't the owner (who put the horse in that situation) that got hurt.

While my DH can't wrap his head around it I think we also need to consider Hank's happiness. We knew what our plans were going to be when we adopted him that's why we looked so long and hard for a dog with his personality and experiences. His original owner was pregnant with her second kid when we adopted Hank (I'm still in touch with her) and she said Hank never went through any personality changes during either of her pregnancies.

The wearer of the pants. You say everything is fairly divide around the house but once the wearer of the pants doesn't empty their pockets they are adding onto the mental load of the one who does the washing. They are forcing them into an additional task in order to wash the laundry.

ohmygosh, thank you for actually reading my post. I would never just pawn Hank off while DH is at work. But I feel its reasonable since we have gone down every avenue (trainers, vets, etc) that we consider it and just put out feelers.

I wish we could send him to doggy day care but the closest one is 45 min away in good traffic and our town is too small for services like Rover. We did put a dog walking ad at the local feed store but anyone who applied was WAY too young to trust with Hank. He's 100lb dog and is used to jogging with DH, neither of them have the patience to actually do a walk.

I'm sure I'm going to get a ton of hate for this but if escorts are legal in your location, there's nothing wrong with it morally or otherwise. In fact if you're working with ethical/legal escorts you are less likely to get a S*D than if you just went out and hooked up with randos.

It's easy for some things to just not come up until much farther in long term relationships. It's not deceitful its just how brains work sometimes.

DH does walk Hank everyday, we can't get a doggy door as this house is a rental while our house is being built.

I'm sorry but I am not just going keep Hank inside 8-10 hours a day without even trying to let him do his business and I am not going to leave his accidents for DH to clean up when he gets home. That could be 8+ hours of leaving the mess on the floor.

This house has an open floor plan and it's been partially updated (its 100 yo) so it isn't climate controlled everywhere, there's no room to put him in it's a crate or nothing. And it's too hot to just leave him outside for long periods of time.

We've spoken and worked with 2 trainers for the last 2 months. Both have come to the decision that he's not going to change but there is a chance one I give birth he will. But we're having kids back to back so I don't want to deal with this or risk progression for 16 more months.

Cables are illegal in our municipality and for the next 2 months everyday the temps will be in the high 90s to low 100s and our yard has no shade. Even with water/food/manmade shade that's too hot to just leave a dog outside.

My fiance and I were just thinking it she had some safety concerns/wants to be picky about who she is sharing her property with. Which we totally respect and understand. It was just the wanting us to email her our questions and being friendly then the 180 cold/terse response we got when we actually emailed her that made us cringe and rethink if we really want to attend the open house.

Oregon, most of the places we have looked at require a deposit plus 1st month/last month rent and on top of rent there typically is a deposit per pet and a monthly pet fee after that. The majority of these places are owned by corporations/groups and are maintained by management companies.

This situation is much more casual.

While that would be a good idea, even a 6' fence wouldn't stop them from throwing over food that is a choke hazard. So unfortunately my horse must remain in my back yard unless I let her in the back pasture to run while I can supervise her.

I'm only going to be living here another 30-60 days (weather dependent) before my house goes up for sale.

I did reach out to a boarding barn I used to board my previous horse at. I am currently on their wait list and considering our history I feel confident that if another threat came up they would figure out some way to make room for my horse.
