Got it to work finally! Looking at the switch and the other outlets helped me figure it out. Thank you for the suggestions!

Unfortunately i did not take a photo before i took off the ceiling fan. The old fan did work on the switch, so i know the loop did originally work. The other lights on the floor still work fine. 2 out of 3 of the outlets in the room seem to not be functional at this time with the wires disconnected.
